The knowledge of Harmony helps a lot to choose the right nuances and good accents in the interpretation of a piece (including current music). It is essential for those who wish to compose or arrange. Find effective positions on the instrument: Finally, a reflection on the choice of fingerings greatly facilitates the interpretation of even very difficult pieces, and improves the sound result. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Learning to play an instrument is an amazing skill to possess! I have been playing guitar for 12 years now and piano for 2 years. Playing instrument provides me with a hobby that is equal parts calming and fun, it brings joy to me and to others. It is best to start learning music at a young age however, it is never too late to pick up a new skill! I myself have recently tried learning the cello and it is exciting to say the least. I have many years experience tutoring and teaching both academically and musically. I have taught ages 4-15 years old in the past as well as having many years experience in customer service. I can teach chords, fingerstyles and plucking, full songs or melodies, in either tab form or standard music notation.
