Modern Music, Electronic, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop, Classical... I am an international polyinstrumentalist with a diploma in violin from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. I started playing the Piano and Violin at the age of 4 and I am an active performer throughout Europe, with 20 years of experience teaching this instrument. In addition, I have had the honor of being an official Violin Tutor of the educational sector of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, which further enriched my pedagogical background. My advanced training in Jazz and electronic music complements my approach, allowing me to offer a diversified range of both acoustic and electric violin and my repertoire ranges from classical pieces to modern music. I am pleased to present my violin classes, both acoustic and electric, specifically designed to address a wide range of musical styles and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players, offering a nurturing learning environment. My methodology combines traditional elements, Russian influences and Suzuki method approaches, and I carefully adapt it to the individual needs of each student. An example program from one of my classes includes goal definition, a solid technical foundation, followed by exploration of classical and/or modern repertoire. I encourage musical expression and creativity, which allows my students to develop their own performing style. What gratifies me most as a teacher is sharing the joy of music and the passion for this versatile instrument. For me, seeing my students grow and enjoy music is a privilege. During this course you will be able to acquire all the necessary tools to learn from scratch the knowledge and skills necessary to play the violin or viola, learn to read sheet music and understand the general functioning of music through the Suzuki methodology and others. I have demonstrable experience in teaching violin and viola to children and young people at a beginner and intermediate level. I adjust violin lessons to your abilities and level of advancement. If you are starting from the beginning, you will learn how to hold the instrument correctly to avoid injuries and unnecessary tension. You will also learn the basics of musical notation, rhythmic notation and how to put it all together and start playing the violin. I have 8 years of experience as a teacher for children and adults and I have a master's degree in piano performance and research in Musical Didactics. I am passionate about pedagogy, piano and research. I maintain a good relationship with my students and especially, I am very attuned to young children. I am methodical and with an affinity for technology. I am certified in advanced English and braille musicography and am a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example.
