Born in a Belgian family, I grew up in Brussels and followed a bilingual education at the Lycée Français Jean Monnet where I got my high school diploma; Baccalaureate (Economic and Social section with International Option of Baccalaureate). In my last year of high school, I tutored a 6-year-old with all her subjects(math, french, dutch and science). I progressively integrate phonetics, grammar, conjugation, vocabulary in the courses which always include practical exercises. You will also learn a lot about the culture as it is deeply linked to the language. The pedagogic materials I choose are mostly created for native speakers : texts from literature, newspapers, radio podcasts, videos, songs.... Indeed, I am convinced that the learning process has to tackle « real subjects », as languages are alive and constantly changing. My main challenge is to help the learners to be able to « think » in the second language.
