•Learn how to play saxophone, develop your musicality and build your own repertoire (for all kind of music and levels)
“Don't play the saxophone. Let it play you.” - Charlie Parker -
Everyone of us has is own musicality, we have just to let her come out.
The goal of my lesson is to let you discover how much fun and passion music can gives.
Music has no age: you're never too young or too old to tell yourself through a musical instrument.
If you love and recognize yourself in the warm sound of the saxophone then what are you waiting for!?
Let's start this wonderful Music journey Together :)
“Whatever you think can't be done, somebody will come along and do it.” – Thelonious Monk
SAXOPHONE LESSON:
To learn how to transfer your musical ideas into the saxophone is required a total connection between your body and your mind with the horn. That's why for the first part of every lesson will be focused on the Sound and the saxophone technique.
You need to learn how to build your own saxophone tone and how to sing into the instrument.
This process can take some weeks for really beginners but it'll show you how the musical practice can positive effect your all body and emotions, as well as your creativity.
In order to make your music journey more fun and personal my lessons will be based on your music interests and purpose (learn how to read music, improvisation ecc...)
During this journey together we'll build your own repertoire of songs that most represent you, which we'll dedicate the second part of the lesson.
FOR NERDY ;)
For those who wants to go deeper into the world of saxophone I'll organize some special 'listening section' focus on the the role of Saxophone in the music history and in the different kind of music. From the classical repertoire (Gershwin, Bizet, Milhaud, Rota, Bernstein, Steve Reich, Michael Nyman...) passing through the more popular: Blues, Jazz (Stan Getz, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderly, Sonny Rollins...), latin , rock&roll, Pop until nowadays.
We'll listen to the milestones of the great composers and performers that have made the history of this fantastic instrument.
I'm sure It'll be a journey of discovery the beauty of the music to which this instrument has made, and a big inspiration for you to grow the passion toward this amazing form of art.

Piano lessons: Fun-Filled journey! Lessons for children and adults!Hello everyone!
My musical journey began when I was just four years old, starting with the piano. Later, at the age of seven, I eagerly embraced the violin, adding its enchanting melodies to my repertoire.
I achieved a professional mid-grade in both piano and violin. Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision.
After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music.
In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music.
Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions.
In every note I play and every project I undertake, my passion for music shines through. It's a journey of exploration, growth, and discovery, and I'm excited to continue sharing my love for music with the world.
I've been teaching during the last 8 years. I am flexible with the students needs and I embrace fun and creativity in my lessons.

Musical Mayhem: Fun and Creative Lessons for All!!.Hey there,
Are you in need of a talented and fun-loving music teacher? Well, look no further! I'm your gal.
First of all, let me just say that I love music. Like, seriously love it. And there's nothing that brings me more joy than sharing that love with others. That's why I've spent the last decade of my life teaching music theory, performance, and technique to students of all ages and levels.
But here's the thing, I don't believe that music has to be all serious and stuffy. In fact, I think that learning music should be a fun and enjoyable experience. That's why I strive to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere in my lessons, complete with jokes, puns, and maybe even some karaoke sessions (if you're lucky).
Now, don't get me wrong, I take my job seriously. I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and a Master's degree in Music Performance, so you can rest assured that I know my stuff. But I also believe that learning music should be a joyful and exciting journey.
So, if you're looking for a music teacher who can not only teach your students how to make them laugh, then look no further. I'm your girl. Let's make beautiful music together!

* Reviews from my students:
"I was a student of the jazz music lesson of Mandy in Guangzhou. I appreciate her enlightenment of jazz to me. Mandy was very responsible in class, she would begin with some warming–up vocal exercises with us, with explanations about how to do them correctly, and explain the different characteristics of jazz music in detail, such as rhythms, forms, harmony etc. She also paid great attention to examples and communication. After class, Mandy also gave us some useful exercises and taught us to use different devices and APP for practising so that we could better master singing skills. In Mandy, I can see her great passion for music. Besides jazz, Mandy has always been dedicated to combining Eastern and Western cultures. She is a good teacher with passion and heart." - Ally
"Mandy practising teacher and a nice person. I've known her for several years. She had taught me a lot with vocal technique and Jazz knowledge. She's very patient and kind when she's teaching students. No matter if we did well or not, she would go through with us over and over again. Meanwhile, Mandy is also a very talented singer and musician. She did a lot of perfect stage performances. She is one of the best singers in China. Although she has already gotten a lot of achievements, she still keeps enterprising and self-disciplined and never stops learning and improving herself." - Baixue
"Mandy is a teacher who is particularly good at guiding students. She teaches students following their aptitude and seizes the characteristics of each student. I always feel relaxed and happy in her lessons. Also, I understood all she taught me in the lessons. I highly recommend her!!!" - Grecia
"Mandy is a very passionate and patient teacher. I have learned a lot from her singing & music theory lessons. When I encountered problems, she was always willing to help me and patiently answer my questions. She also uses different methods and provides more references to me to think better and learn and comprehend vocal music in the long term. I am very grateful to Ms Chen because I have been greatly motivated to feel the charm of vocal music after having lessons with her, which inspires me to learn and practice more vocal music." - Zoe

Drum Lessons for all levels - all styles considered!Do you want to play in a band, play for fun at home with friends, or become a proffecional drummer?
Come for a lesson in my studio and see what you'd like to learn. If you like a certain style, we will focus on it and develop your playing towards your taste. I've been playing, teaching and studying drums for over 15 years now. I take it very seriously and try to tailor my teaching to every student that I have. I can use my experience as a proffecional musician to make you progress fast and focus on things not every teacher knows from books. In this course we will focus on technique as well as creativity and improvisation (one of the most enjoyable aspects of playing drums).
Do you have any other percussion instrument you'd like to expand your knowledge on? I can offer you percussion lessons as well since I have a lot of experience in playing percussion as well.
If you want to study with me I can provide a stable program for development for fast results including scores, exercises, etc.
About me:
As well as teaching, I'm mainly a performer of music - I've been playing drums with different bands as well as classical percussion for more than 15 years now in many different settings. In the last years of my development I've taken a closer look to jazz, pop, hip hop and rock music. I can use my experience to find good qualities in my students and develop them as much as possible.
I hope you consider me to be your teacher :)
Valentina
Have fun by learning how to play the clarinet and discovering how the music works!Do you want to have fun learning how to play the most beautiful instrument in the world or improve your skills with it? I'd be delighted to do it with you! I'm a classical clarinetist, I have two masters (recently graduated at Codarts) and different experience in orchestra, chamber music and teaching! My goal as a teacher is to stimulate the student to study in order to be at the disposal of music and not a passive player as can happen many times when you undertake a new study. That is why I like to play with my students and organize little private concerts and try-out.
Concerning the music theory lessons, I am not going to bore you with long and incomprehensible explanations! We will study it in a fun and effective way! I've been studying music since I'm five years old and I started with the Kodaly method that made me approach music in a very natural way! I hope to see you soon!
