As a former Geography teacher for a few years at the start of my career and now as a young retired ex-Chief of Police and perfectly bilingual Dutch-French, I offer a daily availability to help out during the day where it is needed. I have the necessary pedagogical skills to help raise the knowledge of others to a higher level and to fill certain gaps. This can be for tutoring / explaining Geography and other Sciences to pupils / pupils to Dutch language lessons for adults and (extra) lessons in other languages for pupils and pupils in function of improving their language skills. I provide lessons for the Nt2 Staatsexamen and Dutch Nationalization exam (Inburgeringexamen)and Business Dutch for ex-pats and people who want to learn everyday Dutch. In the citizenship exam course, students learn about history, geography and basic vocabulary which are the contents of the exam. They learn how to respond to basic questions. Besides preparatory lessons for (Inburgeringexamen ,citizenship exam ,I teach Business Dutch) to expats. Online lessons are delivered through Google meet and Ms Teams and other online platforms. The lessons are conducted online as well as at a location in The Hague Both private and group lessons are available. I take pride in saying that all my students who I prepared for Dutch exams passed their exams with high scores :)

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
