I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

My name is Anita, and I am an interdisciplinary neurodivergent artist. I combine traditional and unconventional teaching methods with an innovative approach, adapted to the fast-paced era we live in, where attention spans can be short. My teaching integrates principles of psychology to better understand each student’s unique needs and aspirations. My goal is to nurture visionary children who have strong foundational values and a humble sense of self. I believe that true artistic mastery comes from human excellence. Also, in this way, students develop true self-confidence by evaluating their success based on personal progress rather than comparing themselves to others. This course is especially recommended for neurodivergent children (with Autism Level 1 - Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Hypersensitivity, and Anxiety) with multiple interests who struggle to choose, focus on, and manage various subjects. It helps develop both technique and discipline, enabling them to navigate multiple creative fields—essentially putting their eggs in several baskets while honing the skills necessary for diverse career opportunities in an uncertain job market. The program encourages a generalist mindset, promoting versatility without compromising creative integrity. Students will learn to refine their Zoom In/Zoom Out perspective, gaining the ability to see both the bigger picture and the finer details of any subject. The program's structure guides the individuals through three essential phases: Exploration Phase–Presentations, visual games, and foundational lessons introduce students to various disciplines, helping them discover their interests. Development Phase–They start defining their creative goals, practicing their skills, and trying out various artistic approaches. Mastery Phase - With a clear direction, students focus on long-term goals, whether as brand-focused professionals, university students, or future educators. Disciplines covered include architecture, painting, illustration, concept design (especially for gaming), traditional animation, digital art, children's book illustration, film, creative writing, and music (the art of songwriting). A Purposeful, Transparent Approach I work closely with each student, providing honest yet supportive evaluations to help identify their strengths. My goal is to guide serious and passionate learners and not to mislead families into unnecessary expenses. I strive to be straightforward in a respectful and encouraging manner, communicating if a child may not be suited for this path. A Valuable Investment in Thinking & Creativity Even if a student ultimately chooses a non-artistic career, this course fosters critical and creative thinking, which are essential skills for any field. The knowledge gained here is never wasted; it’s an investment in adaptability, innovation, and problem-solving abilities that transcend the arts.

This class supports students who wish to enter the world of drawing or improve their drawing practice in the classical tradition. Students will learn to take a slow, thoughtful, methodical approach to observing light and form and depicting it on a surface using principles of shape, proportion and tone, and a balance of optical and conceptual knowledge. This class is suitable for beginner students who want to explore a new method of drawing, and also for those who are already familiar with drawing and wish to refine their skills.

These sessions allow the development of skills and knowledge of the trade, with the game facing the camera, familiarization with the audiovisual environment and the camera tool, in the art of acting. Your inventiveness and your uniqueness being at the center of your training, it is a question of dwelling on the objective criteria, such as the voice, the use of the body, the relationship with the partner, the capacity to occupy the space. I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London. Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don't always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you! Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs. The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language. (Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.)
