History for high school students

I can give lessons to your child in any subject from 6th level to 3rd level. In math, in French, in history, in geography, in physics, in chemistry, in biology, in English, in Spanish ... I am a student and I am looking for work to finance my studies. I therefore offer you my services. I am attentive, patient, gentle with children. I love helping others and will do my best to help your child succeed in school. I can also offer lessons in reading, writing, spelling etc ... according to the needs of your child. I have taken a few years off to complete my PhD in History and I would not like to stop teaching and learning in the meantime. History and Political Science are intertwined subjects with multidisciplinary approaches. To study one of these, one must understand the other. I offer classes that teach either of the two subjects, as well as both (if required) with aspect to the other. How often have we wondered about historical events with respect to Politics? Do we know that the Romanovs were related to the British Royal Family and how their brutal killings was shaped by geopolitics of the era, or how Hitler's death was a highly controversial political debate? You see how history and politics cannot be separated. It is also undeniable that having knowledge of the two subjects can help you achieve higher marks and credits, as well as a deeper understanding and passion for the subjects.

I can give lessons to your child in a good number of subjects taught in elementary school as well as in college or even high school, ranging from history to English, via French or even geography. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others.
