My name is Andrea and I am a student in Jazz (3rd year in progress), I started the piano at 6 years old and singing at 8 years old. Four years ago I took up jazz, bossa nova and modern music, which allowed me to develop my piano and vocal practice. I have been giving singing, piano and music theory lessons for three years to beginners (adults and children). I adapt to the student according to his needs and the learning method that suits him best because there are as many learning approaches as there are students! In my lessons, it is possible to learn to sing by breathing correctly and by using "the singer's muscle" (diaphragm) as well as sitting, pitch, power, vocal technique and improvisation! I also discuss harmony, music theory and ear work (FM: musical training) reading (classical and jazz score), rhythm and learning the piano! (independence of the hands, fingerings, scales, chords, inversion and enrichment of chords ...) I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth.
