Philosophy for terminal students

I have a Master's degree in Philosophy, with a specialization in the philosophy of history and art. I love teaching any subject in the Humanities, because I did an intensive degree in Humanities in Paris. I also taught different languages such as Spanish, French and English for many years to children of different ages, from kindergarten to high school.

My courses are aimed at students of all levels, from primary to university. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, my teaching methods adapt to your individual needs. I also offer an exceptionally dedicated plan for first year baccalaureate students, offering ongoing support throughout the year for preparation and revision for exams, including the regional exam. This specific program aims to strengthen necessary skills, consolidate knowledge and provide strategic guidance to excel in assessments.

I mainly teach math lessons from middle school to high school. Before starting the lessons, I need to get in touch with the student to know their level, the areas where they want to improve and their objectives. Depending on the level, I adapt the work seen in class to the different points of improvement and suggest exercises consistent with what the student is stuck on. At the same time, I go over point by point the elements that were not for the student (in the Ds and the questions) I rework the exercises seen in class. Finally, and this is the most important, I advise the student on his working methods, with what state of mind to approach the exercises. I can also provide homework help in subjects other than mathematics: I got 17 in the HEC philosophy exams and I didn't get below 18 in subjects such as SES, Philosophy and history in the BAC. I recommend at least one math lesson per week in order to take stock of the week; it is regularity that allows progress. As a Tutor at EDHEC I already have experience of courses with high schools. I am a calm, composed and educational person. In terms of math, I got 18 in my math baccalaureate and then I went to a HEC preparatory class at Louis-Le-Grand in advanced math where I had more than 12 hours of math per week.

Recent graduate of Oxford University, theology and religion. A*s in A levels and 9s at gcses. Will provide high level tutoring in any subject (ks2-4, gcse, a level etc) related to my degree subject. These include Religious studies, ethics, philosophy, politics, english (literature at a-level, lit and lang gcse). Can offer subject specific teaching, but also more generally essay writing practice, as well as oxbridge interview, personal statement, and entrance exam help, particularly for students in the state sector. Master's student in physics at EPFL and literary at heart, I obtained the baccalaureate with very good honors (19.8/20 general average) and willingly help in learning the French language and its literature. , its philosophy and its culture if interested. I teach GCSE or equivalent Religious Education, specialising in Christianity/Catholic Christianity, Judaism, Islam, HInduism, Sikhism and Buddhism. I have recently taught and examined AQA RS A and B. I teach the beliefs and practices of the religions and exam skills (how to answer exam questions, how to maximise time in exam settings). I can also teach the Irish curriculum in Religious Education.
