I give English lessons for children who need extra support in English mastery. I was the training manager for Eye Level English (a multinational for the field of education) in Indonesia. There I learned different learning materials and learning approach for children. I will help your child / children with their own 'eye level'.

Hi, My name is Cathrine. I have completed my IB diploma at Birkerød Gymnasium. I am currently pursuing my degree in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. I am originally from Malaysia but I have been living in Denmark for the past 5 years. However, English is my first language. I am fluent in speaking, reading, and writing the language. Therefore, during the lesson, I will incorporate tasks and activities involving these 3 aspects. We will also go through basic grammar rules that will be useful for both writing and daily conversations. I will provide printed worksheets and assignments (included in the fees of the lesson) to be done during the lesson and also as homework. Workbooks may be provided at an additional cost which you can work with on your own at home after the lesson. This is of course highly recommended for your own benefit as practice makes perfect. In the first meeting, we will discuss further on the preference of workload and what you would like to learn. I'm available for hourly sessions where we can practice increasing the fluency, comprehension, speaking, or writing level you're at with the English language. I'm open to planning and customizing lessons based on your level of ability, but also your general comfort level. We can also work with the materials you bring if that's something you want to do. But I do want to make sure that you're being challenged (or are challenging yourself) enough or in ways that feel meaningful to you! The aim of this course is to increase fluency, confidence, use of language and pronunciation in order to improve your language skills. I offer explanations of Grammatical topics, expansion of vocabulary and tips for pronunciation in order to improve the ability to be understood! The best way to know a language is through exposition, therefore only English will be spoken in class.
