Hi students and music lovers ! Piano is a fun and rewarding way to explore music for people of all ages, whether you've played music before or not, and is one of the most accessible instruments right from the first lesson! I teach with a variety of pop-transcriptions and easy Classical pieces, simple improvisation and harmony exercises, and am comfortable adapting to each pupils own way of learning. I graduated Master’s cum laude in Piano Performance at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre studying with prof. Peep Lassmann, who was himself a student of the great Russian pianist Emil Gilels. I have 12 years' private teaching experience, and was employed by Märjamaa Music and Art School as a 1:1 piano teacher in 2018-19. I also have a BMus (Hons) degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and DipABRSM, the standard professional teaching qualification in the UK. Hello to all aspiring musicians! I have been teaching violin for over 10 years and have masters in violin pedagogy. Love to share my love for music and violin, no matter how old you are! We can have lessons either at my home in Tallinn or via video call. I’m comfortable in teaching either Estonian or English, my German is rusty but could try to get that one going aswell!

Entry-level lessons teach about rhythm, melody, harmony, duo play, replay, music listening and ear training, music notation, and sight-reading. Learning depends on your life experience and abilities. You can learn some days, some others may develop skills some years. Learners can continue their studies in a music school or studio. Musical literacy is the reading, writing, and playing of music, as well as an understanding of cultural practice and historical and social contexts. Kopli is famous for bohemians and fine art. Young musicians can rent a music studio at the youth centre.

Dear student, I am Kameris, the future orchestral conductor. Since September 2022 I am in Tallinn, before studied in Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory. I can be helpful for one who has already chosen music as his future life and wants to develop as a musician. My main specialization is conducting, but I sing, play piano and violin. I studied in the UK and graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with a Masters degree and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester with a Bachelor's degree, and I also have an Associate of Trinity College London diploma in instrumental teaching. From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
