I was a teacher at Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and also offered private lessons. Additionally, I served as a concertmaster in the oriental orchestra "Loubnan Assalam" for more than 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to begin by studying musical notes and notation before delving into songs. Dedication and hard work can yield significant progress within a year, enabling you to play simple tunes. However, if you lack a passion for music or the instrument itself, I advise against pursuing it. As a friendly and passionate teacher, I derive joy from witnessing my students' progress and enjoy playing duets with them.
