Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

This class would help you explore different techniques in terms of drawing and mixed media. It would be an online class. Throughout the lessons, you will learn how to do pencil shading , exploring and experimenting with materials for mixed media. This class promotes inclusivity . Even though you are a beginner who do not know the basics, you are welcome to join in.

Painting course: In this course we will immerse ourselves in the fascinating world of painting, learning how to apply layers of colors with specific techniques. From subtle watercolors to vibrant paintings, students will explore various styles and methods to create striking visual compositions. The main objective of the course is to provide students with sufficient techniques and tools so that they can, with them, develop their own visual language and discover their unique style in a creative way.

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

I have three years of experience in teaching at the university level, and I am always keen to work with you on the conceptual, artistic, and technical dimensions of your design projects no matter the scale. Holder of a Bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and creation of multidisciplinary performances from the Iceland University of the Arts, a Master 2 in Art Research & International Creation from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I am an artist member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO. Since 2020, I have been engaged in academic research on medical and spiritual dance whose practice is called Transcendental Dance (Transcendental Embodiment). I intend to present this research in a doctoral contract. My professional experience extends internationally where I had the opportunity to work alongside various renowned companies and to organize internships in France, Iceland, Sweden, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey and Asia. Also, I had the opportunity to dance for haute couture houses during Fashion Week in Paris. I teach contemporary dance, technical floorwork (floor work), contact dance and classical dance. My classes focus on mindfulness, musicality, harmonization of energy flows, improvisation, muscle strengthening and coaching in choreographic composition for competitions, exams, galas, and weddings. In this class, we will learn how to make a croquis, starting with a beginner fashion figure tutorial and learning techniques to make them personalized and bring your designs to life.

I graduated with a First Class BA Honours in Fine Art from Southampton University. I run workshops for groups locally, and work with therapeutic art techniques. I'm well-versed in grant writing, having achieved 3 successful grants to date and my work is featured in a number of publications. I have been fortunate enough to have works in private collections. My hours are flexible, and the range of mediums I work in is too. I have experience teaching, and am bilingual in English and Greek.

This class will support you to explore your local area. You will do this by foot and your learning and study will depend on what you encounter in your local area. Harnessing and expressing your growing knowledge will be done creatively in a mode that you enjoy most - drawing or writing or photography or a combination of both. We will look at ways to dig deeper into our locality and follow what interests us most. This is a contemporary art practice class that will tap into geography and history.
