Maths GCSE is an important subject, with many needing to retake the subject if they fail. I am currently studying A Level Maths myself, after having achieved a grade 9 (A*) at GCSE. I also have a lot of success in the UKMT Maths Challenges. I have achieved a Gold Award and best in school two years in a row (Junior Mathematical Challenge 2021, Intermediate Mathematical Challenge 2022) and have also qualified to the Kangaroo challenge both those years. In 2022, I achieved merit in this too. I also have a level 3 algebra award qualification, which is at a similar level to AS.
