For any age and at any level - I will prepare piano lessons that are easy to understand, fun and engaging for the student! Whether you want to learn casually, or you're preparing for a big competition or exam, I am fully prepared to help you succeed. I am happy to teach either classical or pop, and am happy to teach anywhere: the student's location, my location, or a webcam - whatever is easiest and comfortable. These classes will include exercises for technicality, as well as learning the context and history of pieces/songs, and creative interpretations.

Ussually, my lesson programme is start with a short warm up (technique exercises) to continue with different cello pieces chosen by the students. I have a lot of pop and actual music cello pieces for all levels. In addition, I'm familiar with methods like ABRSM, Suzuki, Feuillard, Duport, Popper and Piatti.

The Tecla y Música Workshop is a space designed to learn and develop your musical and expressive sense through the piano and / or keyboards. The main objective is to learn to make music and enjoy the learning process and its results. The material with which we work (songs, instrumental pieces and exercises) is mainly oriented to your musical taste, and the choice is based on gradually expanding your technical and expressive possibilities, while exploring different musical styles. In this way, different tools are being incorporated to achieve, in a short term, mastery and fluency over the musical language and the instrument. Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case. The work proposal implies a weekly class frequency to achieve optimal work dynamics and that the results are visible in a short term. I have a Master's degree from Liszt Ferenc in Budapest, Hungary, and a Master's degree from Columbus State University in the United States. I am currently a piano professor and collaborative pianist at the Universidad del Valle and Conservatorio "Antonio María Valencia" in Colombia. Besides my career as a pianist, I have over 10 years of experience in teaching Piano, music theory, and history for all ages and categories. Even if you are a beginner we can make it! I have a personal method where I combine both classical and commercial repertoire depending on the student’s preferences. I usually play four hands with my students as well and organize at least one concert a year with all my students where they can meet and share their experiences.
