Italian speaking student offers an individualized pedagogy to learn or improve Italian, both written and spoken. My goal is to give you the basics of this language if you are a beginner or to help you perfect it to progress.

Want to learn or improve the Italian? I offer Italian language courses at all levels, specific and adaptable to your needs. I propose a communicative pedagogy, direct and easy to capture. The experiences already realized have given me the ability to adapt the work according to the needs of the students.

Basically, I love teaching Italian and Violin! I do it with passion, love, and putting all my self in it. I shall guarantee professionalism, high teaching level and friendly attitude. Italian is the language of Opera and the fashion: understanding the language helps people to get deeper in the Italian culture and to enjoy literature, arts, music and all the most beautiful cities in Italy. My method consists in using grammar books to build solid skills but also reading original samples from Italian newspapers and books, making funny activities and also meeting Italian speakers in Bruxelles to consolidate practical skills of my students. I will encourage students to practise Italian with the new technology and have fun through listening to lovely Italian popular song, arias from Italian Opera or cartoons for children of amateurs (for more details, do not hesitate to contact me). Violin, solfège. I studied Master of Arts in Violin in London at the Royal Academy of Music. As violinist and musician, I think it is fundamental for a student of music to understand their bodies in order to feel the inner voice of themselves. I studied Alexander technique so in my teaching I always talk about relaxing, feeling the right tensions and avoiding the not-useful ones. I will be happy to teach violin to everyone who needs to improve musicality, technique, self-consciousness or simply who like to enjoy violin. As a violinst, I usually play with ensemble or in chamber music projects across the Europe. Over 20 hours of instruction and 4 hours of online lab practice, students will acquire basic skills to understand and use simple expressions for everyday communication, including: Greeting others and introducing themselves. Asking and answering basic questions about personal details (name, nationality, preferences). Understanding and using simple phrases to meet immediate needs (ordering food, shopping, basic travel). This interactive course focuses on speaking, listening, and foundational reading and writing skills, making it ideal for learners with no prior knowledge of Italian. The course runs over 4 weeks, with 3 meetings per week, each lasting 120 minutes. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

Hello everybody! My name is Isabelle and I have been a French teacher for several years. I have an A2 Baccalaureate, I have worked in several companies and in several places, in particular in Monte-Carlo and Algiers when I was in marketing at ABB. Ciao! I'm Valeria, a Southern Italian wanderer, willing to help you learn her native language. I studied foreign languages (French, English, Spanish, Russian) and got a Master's Degree in Modern Languages for International Cooperation at the University of Bari. I worked as an Italian teacher in reception centres for asylum seekers for 5 years and also taught Italian language as a volunteer in Italy and abroad to people of all ages. In this course, you will learn a range of linguistic methods and learn the terms used for describing a specific aspect of language or phenomenon (lexis, morphemes, and 'telegraphic stage' to give a few examples). The course requires you to explore your own data using quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg: how frequently are slang phrases used? Are there new auxiliaries being created?). No historical linguistics or literature is involved, but language change or specific traits will be sampled via your own data collection (if this is what is demanded in your course). As many students need to present a "year abroad" dissertation at University level (3rd year in the UK of a Modern Languages or Linguistics Undergraduate course) I can help you to research and structure your year abroad work, both in English (Linguistics) and Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish). The topics that have arisen from recent discussions with students relate to French Caribbean writing, Italian resistance and reprisals in Rome (Fosse Ardiatine), and Spanish Etica franquista in films (among others).

I am an external Italian curator during the official “Plida” certifications. I have a C1 level in English and Spanish, I am also an Italian speaker and have extensive experience teaching children.
