During the classes, we will explore the interface of both programs, project management, clip editing, color correction, and the use of special effects and transitions. I teach Davinci Resolve and Premiere Pro from beginner to advanced. In the beginner and intermediate courses, all the important basics are covered and practiced using practical applications. The advanced courses go into finer details, such as advanced editing techniques or shed light on specific processes such as proxy workflows or colour management. Structure: The technical lessons are structured in 1 hour modules, using practical examples and allow time for experimentation and questions. I also teach editing theory and creative strategies across many different genres and styles. These are less structured and are tailored to specific needs. Open Sessions are also possible, where you may bring along a personal project and I will offer you technical assistance, feedback or tips.

Premiere Pro is often used in conjunction with After Effects and Photoshop on creative projects. Premiere Pro can be used for all common video editing tasks necessary for producing broadcast-quality, high-definition video. It can be used to import video, audio, and graphics, and is used to create new, edited versions of video which can be exported to the medium and format necessary for the distribution. When creating videos using Premiere Pro, various video and still images can be edited together. Titles can be added to videos, and filters can be applied along with other effects. You will learn all the necessary basics to successfully complete your project.
