Hi! I am passionate about teaching and encouraging my students to tap into their own unique potential. I can help provide technical training with painting being my speciality in acrylics, oils, watercolour, gouache and ink. I believe the most fulfilling experiences with making art comes from an innate place of joy, playfulness and experimenting. I can provide a calm, relaxed and encouraging environment, allowing you to explore and hone in on skills you didn't realise you had or maybe to work on skills you already know you like, but want to get better at. I am a practicing artist who has exhibited internationally and have worked for artists for over 7 years so I have vast knowledge on contemporary art and the art world. So whether it is institutions you wish to work with, sell work or to just make work, I will be able to share my experiences and insight with you.

I have been tutoring mathematics and physics for 10+ years, besides that also been teaching at professional Sound Design courses. I hold two degrees, one in Electrical Engineering, the other one in Electronic Music Composition. This course offers an in-depth exploration of painting, with an emphasis on the techniques, styles, and artistic movements that have marked the history of art. Intended for students of all levels, the course combines practical painting sessions with theoretical studies of iconic works, allowing participants to draw inspiration from old and contemporary masters to develop their own style. Currently studying art history at the École du Louvre, and having studied in prestigious schools such as the École Olivier de Serres, I am a creator-researcher in contemporary art, specializing in culinary design, which enriches my pedagogical approach with a unique interdisciplinary perspective. Students will learn to master various painting techniques, such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor, while discovering how these mediums have evolved over the centuries, techniques that I learned in particular during my professional experience in the museographic workshops (decoration painting) of the Louvre Museum. In parallel, discussions and analyses of works of art will allow us to situate the practice of painting in a broader historical and cultural context.

With a master's degree in Language, Literature and Civilization of the English-Speaking World, I took a large number of courses in history, art history and of course languages, literature and translation during my studies at the universities of Cambridge, Edinburgh and Montpellier. This is why I offer courses in most of the literary and linguistic subjects taught in middle and high schools: Spanish (my mother tongue, which I have been teaching for years in private lessons), English (a language I have spoken for almost 15 years and which I taught in the national education system for a year), French, history and art history. All of these subjects fascinate me enormously and I want to pass this passion on to my students. It is entirely possible to combine several of these subjects, which are ultimately very linked to each other.

The class will chart the development of European, American and International art history from 1900 to the present day, beginning with Post-Impressionism and its off-springs Cubism and Expressionism, the move into Abstraction post-war, to Conceptualism and Minimalism of the 1960s and 1970s which still have significant relevance in today's Contemporary art world. The focus will be on the wider political issues that impacted art history of the time, thereby using art history as a novel and unique lens through which we can gauge world history events, and its politics, in a potentially new and interesting light.

Welcome to painting in oils, acrylics, gouache, inks or mixed media! Taught by Royal College Graduate and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. This class is designed just for you. It is available online internationally and in person within 25 miles of BH12 in the UK.* This is a bespoke class which can be for up to three people. Before the class I can guide you on what equipment and materials you will need. We will explore painting as a medium tailored to your level and interests and I will ask you to show me examples of the artists who inspire you. We will discuss how they created their work and how we can use them as inspiration to develop your own individual approach to painting. The fee for your lesson includes all of my lesson planning and any written feedback I may provide for you. *If your location is more than 5 miles from BH12 then there will be an additional fixed fee for my time travelling for you.

This lesson focuses on fashion history from the earliest clothing through the 20th century. Throughout this project students will learn garment parts and styles and the history of clothing and fashion cycles. By the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand the history of fashion and its significance in different time periods. Materials and Prep: Pen and paper Access to a computer or library books
