My name is Diane, and I am from New Zealand. I have 10 years of experience teaching private lessons to different ages and levels and several years of teaching internships during my studies. Making music and learning how to do it should be always a enjoyable process. Fortunately, when you like music and have a supportive and experienced teacher, helping you out and giving you the tools you need in every moment, that joy and stress-free music-making comes easily. I love to teach and I have 5 years of experience with children between 5 and 17 years in many schools. Class duration: 60 minutes I teach in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

Whether you are a complete beginner, or you want to continue your musical journey, we can find the path that best suits you! I have been teaching violin and music in general for the past 7 years working, with every kind of student, from children to adults, professional and amateur, beginner and not. I am a very patient teacher and I always try to find many different material and new stimuli to exercise and stay motivated. The goal is to give you the tools to express yourself through music, expand your skills and musical imagination, having fun in the process. I completed my musical studies in Italy, but I had the chance to spend some time studying and playing in Belgium and Austria too. Alongside teaching, I play in orchestras and ensembles and I also continued studying, getting a master degree in baroque violin.

Violin lessons for beginners I can teach you the violin from scratch to professionalism, and this will include teaching musical notation, writing and reading. We can start by learning the principles of music and then gradually move to training on the violin. There will be a special book for teaching.

Violin classes for beginners and intermediates, focusing on technical and interpretative aspects. Musical arrangement classes for different instrumental formats and sheet music transcription. I make recordings of violins and string ensembles. The teaching methodology is based on understanding the technical and musical learning process, progressive study with examples performed by the teacher, using academic and popular repertoire, scale and arpeggio systems, and exercises for developing muscle memory.

In this violin course you will learn a foundation in learning one of the most rewarding instruments in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Grip the bow, hold the violin, have the perfect hand position and enjoy playing the strings while learning how to read the notes, the violin rhythm and technique. Students will generally learn better if they feel a connection developing with their teacher, whether that’s through humour, showing care about their development, or making sure teacher devote time equally to all students when in a group. Depending on your level in our lessons, we might start by practicing basic things like scales. Then, we move on to different books that match how good you are at playing. I'll teach you special techniques, like the Tune Day Method, to help you get better. But most importantly, I want you to enjoy what you're playing, so I'll let you choose the songs you enjoy.

My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

A little more about me: My name is Suely and I obtained my Bachelor's degree in music at the Amsterdam Conservatory where I was able to develop an international vision of music, both as a performer and teacher. After several years living in different countries and participating in international orchestras and festivals, such as the Civic Orchestra of Chicago or the Lucerne Music Festival Academy, I returned to Madrid where I completed my master's degree in solo performance and where I combine my professional career as a violinist, both in orchestras and chamber music, with my other great passion: teaching.
