Experience / Qualifications

Having had the privilege of teaching guitar across various platforms in Mexico, I've cultivated a rich and diverse teaching experience that spans private academies and individual lessons. My journey as a guitar instructor has been incredibly rewarding, marked by moments of growth, inspiration, and deep musical connection.

In private academies, I've had the opportunity to engage with students from all walks of life and musical backgrounds. From beginners taking their first steps in mastering chords to advanced players seeking to refine their techniques, each class has been a unique exploration of music's transformative power. The collaborative atmosphere of academies fosters a sense of community and shared passion for the guitar, fueling students' motivation to excel and evolve.

Additionally, teaching private lessons has allowed me to personalize the learning experience to meet the individual needs and aspirations of each student. Whether it's delving into the intricacies of classical guitar, unraveling the mysteries of jazz improvisation, or exploring the raw energy of rock and roll, every lesson is a personalized journey of discovery. Witnessing the gradual progression and newfound confidence in my students has been immensely fulfilling, reaffirming my commitment to nurturing talent and igniting a lifelong love for music.

Across all levels – from absolute beginners to seasoned players – I've cherished the opportunity to impart not only technical proficiency but also a deeper understanding and appreciation of music as an art form. Beyond mastering scales and fretboard techniques, my goal has always been to instill a sense of creativity, expression, and joy in each student's musical journey.

In Mexico's vibrant and dynamic music scene, teaching guitar has been more than just a profession – it's been a passion and a calling. As I look back on the countless hours spent in classrooms and private studios, I'm grateful for the countless lives touched and inspired by the universal language of music. My journey as a guitar instructor continues to evolve, driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a commitment to empowering the next generation of musicians.

In summary, my teaching experience in private academies and private lessons in Mexico has been a remarkable odyssey of musical discovery, growth, and fulfillment. I eagerly look forward to continuing this journey, inspiring and empowering students to unlock their full potential and embark on their own musical adventures.

Victor
Student at the Brussels Conservatory gives guitar and bass guitar lessons
Hello, my name is Victor, I am 24 years old and I am currently a student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I play in different musical projects with artists such as Youssef Swatt's, Lena Deluxe, Bim Boom Bap... My teaching focuses on spontaneous and mainly oral learning of music. There is no need to know music theory. I will discuss some theoretical notions depending on what we are working on together, and your curiosity on this subject. I would emphasize listening, rhythm and playing in pairs. There will be part of the work devoted to instrumental technique (how to get a beautiful sound out of the instrument, how to play without getting tired or injured, what are the different ways of making a guitar/bass guitar sound depending on the style) , and the rest of the time we can work on pieces, tackle improvisation, group playing, composition, or other subjects depending on your requests. I offer a free lesson to see where you are, and so that we can discuss your desires and what I can offer you. Please feel free to message me with any requests. My musical journey: I am currently a student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in jazz and before that I spent 2 years at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Lille in jazz bass/double bass and classical double bass. I also graduated from EF2M in Tourcoing. I started music at the age of 8 with the piano, then I turned to the guitar at 12 and then to the electric bass at 16. When I entered the Lille Conservatory, I also took up the double bass. I practiced several styles: jazz, rock, blues, metal, classical, soul, funk, etc... and the fact of having played several instruments helps me to have a more global vision of music, and to find what is interesting in each of the styles. This openness I want to pass on in my classes. I have several years of stage experience with different projects, and I have also worked in the studio, notably with the house music artist Bellaire.

Rodrigo Fuentealba
Guitars Guitars from beginners to advanced, with style !
Hi there, My name is Rodrigo Fuentealba, I’m a professional guitarist - Fuzztones, Arsenal, Novastar, Gabriel Ríos, Fifty Foot Combo, Manngold - I play in little dark venues as well as Werchter and Forest National in bands whose genre ranges from Rock'n Roll, blues, surf, punkrock, postpunk, jazz, latin, garage, pop, soul, folk, country, psychedelica, impro, solos and anything in between and beyond, anything as long as it’s good and fun ! And ... I can’t read music (I can pretend very well) and I’ve only been taking an interest in music theory in the last ten years. I have a solid experience as a guitar teacher as i’ve worked for 10 years at the PXL Music Conservatory, which produces most of the professional bands coming out of Belgium, as well as at the Merelbeke Music Academy. I also produce music, write music scores for theater, movies, adverts and contemporary dance. I got into music because it is fun to play an instrument, it makes you feel good, it’s creative, inspiring, and it connects you to other people. And that is my main goal in teaching you how to play the guitar. At your own pace, learning the stuff that you like and want to learn. The basic basics, songs, styles, soloing, impro, and the more advanced things, whatever it is that you fancy and would like to learn. In a beautiful environment. And with a nice cup of tea. In English, Dutch, French or Spanish, in the daytime or evening.

Brussels guitar court, in group or individually.
Private guitar class in classical, acoustic or electric at my home. Possibility of group classes. I am located in Schaerbeek near the place Lietds. I am a Frenchman of about thirty years, I studied music for several years and I practice the guitar for over 15 years. I taught it to young and old, in groups or in private lessons. I teach most often for beginners but also for more advanced levels. I also had the opportunity to give lessons to people with difficulties, including blind people or people with reduced mobility. I have also taught a lot in the United Kingdom so I can give my lessons in English. I enjoy sharing and following the evolution of my students. I will find you the best way for you to gradually learn to play this instrument but also to understand and use music in general. I can teach you at the same time as solfeggio or following the tabs, grids chords .. We can also focus on styles or songs that you like but I would encourage you to discover, practice, evolve ..

Congratulation of the jury to the final examination of CIAM Bordeaux. Great experience of the current music scene. Guitar teacher for over 5 years.

Private lessons in guitar, ukulele and / or music theory!
I trained as a classical guitar at the conservatory. It is a teaching method that could be criticized a lot, but it allows you to become a versatile and quickly adaptable musician. This is how I would define my courses: customizable. What is most important, in my opinion, is the student-teacher dialogue, which allows not only that the courses meet the desires of the student but also to establish a relationship of trust. I can share as much knowledge in classical music (thanks to many scores accumulated as I studied at the conservatory) as knowledge in current music if you are more connected (singing and guitar accompaniment). I have many notions of music theory, if that's what interests you. We can even do ukulele if that's your thing.
