No solfegic knowledge is required although the basics can be taught if you feel the need. We can explore together the technical and artistic facets of composition, written or improvised live performance, or even mixing. My master software is Ableton Live, and I also program in Max MSP, so if you feel like it, we can also explore the extraordinary that Max for Live (M4L) offers Ableton! If you are on another software I may be able to convey to you a number of main principles but would be less detailed in the knowledge. In the same way, if you have a synthesizer or other hardware that you want to understand better, I could give you the basic principles, and we can study the specificities of your machines together. In this class you will be able to explore logic, through the use go stock plug-ins, recording mixing and mastering techniques. This will further enable a better understanding of how to use this DAW to a degree that can be implemented in the industry.

I have been practicing the violin for over 20 years, I have studied classical music throughout my studies and then studied electronic music and improvisation. At the same time, I studied music theory until I obtained my diploma. I am self-taught regarding the Ableton software but I have been using it for 8 years now and know it perfectly I adapt to each desire, each request and of course at each level!

In these private lessons I will cover a broad range of topics that you'd like to learn about using Ableton Live!
