I am a professional English teacher with over 8 years experience in various teaching roles. I have experience of teaching all ages from 3 up to 65+ in group classes or 1-on-1. Half German living in Brussels and having studied in an International School, I am fluent in French, English and German. I am currently doing my masters in Rotterdam at RSM and would like to offer French and/or English classes to students. I believe communicating with students in the language they would like to learn is key if they want to become confident in the language. Hence, I suggest doing skype classes or real life meetings at home or outdoors depending on your preferences and talking together will be very helpful for the student to improve in a particular language. I will also help with homework, grammar and the theoretical side of the language if desired. I have been a counsellor in summer camps in Canada where I had to teach small children aged from 5-15 English. Some of them didn't even know a single word of English when they arrived. It was very hard but we managed to get to know each other, communicate well and believe me, their English improved a lot.

I am a Turkish teacher. I graduated in Turkey with a BA in Languages. The classes I offer are from basic to academic level, so for children, students, expats and adults. That focus is on learning grammar, speaking,, reading and writing. If you want to learn Turkish for vacation, work, family or just as a hobby, I can certainly help you. I use Turkish grammar books, podcast, websites for learning Turkish and other study materials. and the rate is lower from 5 lessons. Normally a student with a motivation to learn the language learns basic Turkish in 10 or 15 lessons. Both private and group lessons (The Hague) are available.

This class will have an informal approach to learning the language, adapted to each students' needs and preferences. A diversity of materials will be provided, as well as online resources, all depending on the age of the student. As a German speaker with a C1 level, I am aware of the cultural implications of the language, even though I am not an expert in it, of course. I aim to make every class a fruitful and efficient learning process for the student, but also for me.

Turkish is a rich and powerful language to speak. Altough it seems hard to learn, having classes from a person whose mother thounge is Turkish, is not that difficult as it sounds. But the important part is to have fun while learning Turkish becaue learning a language is not only understanding Turkish people but also having the ability to comrehend with their culture. Please bear in mind that I only teach this course in English as I don't speak Dutch.
