Welcome to my flute class! Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this course is designed to help you achieve your musical goals. I am here to support your aspirations and develop your skill level :) Technique Development: We will focus on essential aspects such as embouchure, intonation, air control, breathing, and posture. I will provide various exercises depending on your level to help you improve. Musical Development: We will explore different pieces together, and I encourage you to share any specific pieces you wish to work on. If you’re interested in group lessons with your friends, that would be also fantastic!

If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

Hello, my name is Alexandra. I like to plan both the methodology and the activities of the classes according to: 1. The student's interest, the objectives he or she seeks and 2. Your profile (temperament, personality, individuality), since not all people learn in the same way. These two points are very important to me, so that the class experience is something dynamic (whether it is a child, a teenager, an adult or a group). The place of the class, a time in which we learn by having fun and enjoying the process of learning.

I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.

I enjoy teaching both harp and flute at my studio in Worthing and also offer lessons online. I studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London graduating with a first-class Master's degree and an LRAM music teaching qualification. Learning an instrument is a very rewarding and enjoyable experience and I teach students of all ages and abilities from complete beginner to advanced levels. Music theory will be integrated into the lessons and you will have the opportunity to take part in performances and work towards graded exams if you wish to do so or just play for fun!
