- In a very calm and friendly environment, the classes are organized and planned according to the students' goals/wishes. As someone who was classically trained from age 6 to 18, I believe this is very important for the students well being. - If you want to improve your piano technique while also enjoying the lesson and having a sense of improvement every week, then these lessons are for you. - My classes are for everyone that wants to be able to play anything at the piano. Be it jazz, classical, pop, etc... Also, as a composer and pianist, I might give a different point of view from other piano teachers. The lessons' contents will vary from student to student but may contain: - Piano technique - Music theory; - Ear training; - Popular/jazz/classical repertoire - Musical interpretation - Reading sheet music I am not able to give the lessons in Dutch, yet.

I'm just finished my studies in the University of Arts of Codarts (Rotterdam) and I can't deny I will always keep learning after finishing my degree. I'm looking forward to sharing some knowledge and to hear what you already know. What can I offer? Styles that we can work on: Classical, Folk, Jazz, Pop music. Languages that we can speak in the lesson: Dutch, English, Catalan or/and Spanish Skills that we can work on: basic techniques, jazz and folk techniques, play the cello while singing, percussion on the cello. How do I work? Each class will be individually prepared, in order to have the student goals in mind. In our first lesson we can get to know each other and then we will figure out what do you want and how can I help you. For BEGINNERS I teach the bow, finger positions and other basics with easy songs (with kids I add games to make it more entreating). Such as relating painting with playing, dancing with playing or literature with playing. For AVERAGE LEVEL we explore, with already some technique, how to play songs, finding a good sound and feel at ease with the instrument. Additional Activities: Once a month I plan a rehearsal with pianist to work on some repertoire of cello and piano. Meetings with other students are also arranged to play duos together. I offer double bass lessons for all levels and ages, to everyone interested in learning the basics or willing to refine their technique. I started playing when I was 8 years old, and I keep finding reasons for repeatedly falling in love with it, which is something I would love to share with everyone who would like to get closer to this wonderful instrument. I obtained my bachelor's degree in classical performance in Barcelona, and I am currently pursuing my master's in Rotterdam. Hello everyone! My musical journey began when I was just four years old, starting with the piano. Later, at the age of seven, I eagerly embraced the violin, adding its enchanting melodies to my repertoire. I achieved a professional mid-grade in both piano and violin. Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision. After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music. In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music. Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions. I am Soprano who studied my Master of Music in Codarts University for the Arts in Rotterdam, and before that I studied Bachelor of Music in Chinese University in Hong Kong. I have been teaching singing and piano for 6 years in Hong Kong and The Netherlands, for little children (starting 4 years old) to adults. I speak fluent English, Madarin and Cantonese. I would like to teach you to learn to play the piano. Music is an indispensable thing in life, in my opinion. The lessons will be in person at my home on location (online is possible in consultation) and the teaching method will be adapted to knowledge, technique and age. I can teach you technique as well as the fundamentals of music theory. Of course it's a lot more fun if you can also just play your favorite pieces! I believe that development of technique is better practiced by learning and applying it in actual pieces of music instead of exercise books of, for example, Alfred's piano method.
