“Meditation doesn’t work!” Has this thought ever crossed your mind? Maybe you’ve tried meditation or even done some mindfulness exercises. Sure, they might have helped you relax, maybe encouraged you to take a deep breath or two (or more) and maybe you felt a bit better. But then you got sick and scared, or had a fight with your partner, or yelled at a stranger. And you thought, “Well, eff that. I’ve been meditating for days/months/years and I’m still a jerk. Meditation doesn't work.” And you are right. Meditation doesn’t work if what we are trying to do is bypass the difficulties and discomfort of being a human being. If you are trying to change who you are. Then meditation definitely doesn’t work. But it does work if what you are seeking is to suffer less. Or at least to suffer well. Each class is designed to foster deep connections within oneself. I prefer reading the individual's/collective energy. This allows me to design a nurturing and empowering practice, ensuring that it resonates with everyone present. I emphasise the importance of honouring your own body and its limits, encouraging each participant to listen to their own intuition and let their moves be the moves of truth. My guidance is rooted in traditional practices, but I adapt the sequences to make them accessible and beneficial for all levels. Moreover, as yoga is not only asanas, I love to include meditation and pranayamas in the classes while I incorporate live singing (in-person classes). I use my voice to enhance the atmosphere and create a deeper connection to the practice and one's body, as the frequency of singing is healing.

Increasingly popular and known for its countless benefits, the practice of yoga can be an excellent option for those looking to relax, improve strength, balance or flexibility. My classes are for you if you are looking for: -Improve your physical condition: Through physical practice (asana) you will improve your balance and proprioception, your body awareness, your physical strength and of course your balance. -Improve your breathing capacity: Through different breathing techniques (pranayama), yoga increases our lung capacity, teaches us to breathe coherently, trains our diaphragmatic muscle and teaches us to breathe nasally. -Reduce chronic stress and anxiety levels: Through breathing techniques, meditation and self-knowledge, we can learn to better manage our emotions, thereby reducing stress and anxiety. Classes can be private or group and are taught in both English and Spanish. I offer in-person and online classes. Please check the price for group classes as they are different from private sessions.
