Italian Language Lessons taught by a Native - Different Levels (from Absolute Beginner to Advanced)

My courses are aimed at all school and university students who need help, motivation and support from a dynamic and motivated native speaker, whether it's is grammar, listening, reading or speaking. The methodology is very flexible, having studied several foreign languages myself throughout my studies and my experiences abroad (which have led me to speak five languages).

I am a high school teacher. I speak several languages. Arabic is my native language. I have worked with all levels. And I had training in teaching 👩‍🎓. I helped several foreigners master standard Arabic and the Tunisian dialect 🏆. I follow an official and recognized program to prepare lessons for each learner. I use conversations, text images, games, videos, stories to facilitate learning. I am patient, sociable, and I listen to my learners. In short, I help you to be able to speak, read, and write in Standard Arabic or Tunisian Arabic. 💐

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

The lessons will prepare you for the integration exam and integration into Dutch society. Learn essential language skills, cultural knowledge and practical tips for immigration and naturalisation. You will feel at home in our beautiful country, and your experience will be marvelous!

In this course, you will learn a range of linguistic methods and learn the terms used for describing a specific aspect of language or phenomenon (lexis, morphemes, and 'telegraphic stage' to give a few examples). The course requires you to explore your own data using quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg: how frequently are slang phrases used? Are there new auxiliaries being created?). No historical linguistics or literature is involved, but language change or specific traits will be sampled via your own data collection (if this is what is demanded in your course). As many students need to present a "year abroad" dissertation at University level (3rd year in the UK of a Modern Languages or Linguistics Undergraduate course) I can help you to research and structure your year abroad work, both in English (Linguistics) and Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish). The topics that have arisen from recent discussions with students relate to French Caribbean writing, Italian resistance and reprisals in Rome (Fosse Ardiatine), and Spanish Etica franquista in films (among others).
