My courses are aimed at students of all levels. I also offer an exceptionally dedicated plan for first year baccalaureate students, offering ongoing support throughout the year for preparation and revision for exams, including the regional exam. School tutor with a literary baccalaureate from Rocroy Saint-Vincent de Paul (Paris 9), two years of CPGE AL from Jules Ferry (Paris 9), a degree and a Master's degree in philosophy from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, always with honors, I give distance learning support courses in philosophy for the baccalaureate, for CPGE (preparatory classes for the grandes écoles) and undergraduate students, as well as French, literature and English courses from primary to final year, or for CPGE students. I propose to give lessons on the method in order to best succeed in the final philosophy exam. Indeed, the most important thing is to understand the method of constructing your essay. Based on the courses and the concepts, together we will seek to write ideas and concepts in a "logical" way for the construction of the argument that is requested. In this course we will work on an in-depth analysis of four key texts to understand the changes that have taken place in contemporary philosophy and history, as well as their implications for current and future social life. We will understand the inseparable link between philosophy, history, knowledge and social conflict. I am an enthusiastic educator with 4 years experience in teaching and tutoring. Being a native speaker of both English and German, I can help you improve your language skills starting at any level. I hold a degree in German Literature and Philosophy from the University of Oxford and have experience tutoring both subjects. For the past two years I worked as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school, preparing students to take their German GCSEs. I have done individual mentoring as well as small group interventions to help students with their specific needs. In addition, I have helped individuals on their journey applying to UK universities, from writing their Personal Statement to preparing for interviews at Oxbridge and other Russell Group universities.

My pedagogy relies essentially on my students’ personal goals. I generally offer a free first session of around thirty to forty-five minutes to exchange with students and familiarise myself with their objectives, whether it be academic support for their schoolwork, a desire to deepen their knowledge of the subject, or simply to improve their conversation and writing skills for my language classes. The next classes last about an hour with the number and frequency of sessions depending on the student’s needs. I teach all levels from beginners up to A-levels and work online. A graduate of the University of Oxford, I offer tutoring up to undergraduate standard in philosophy, theology and religious studies, and up to A-Level standard in English literature. Students are guided carefully through relevant course material, and the structure of the lessons closely follows that of the Oxbridge tutorial system - an essay or essay plan is to be prepared as homework in advance of the meeting, and we will build on this and test the foundations of the essay in the lesson. We will work together through past papers if the student is preparing for exams. I can also help with university applications to Oxford/Cambridge. A keen tutor and researcher, I have strong foundations in the subjects I tutor, having studied Philosophy & Theology at Oxford University after achieving A*AA in my A-Levels and receiving the school prize for Religious Studies. Philosophy is the underpinning of life, knowledge and civilisation itself. Its effects are found in every field and there is no element of life which is left unchallenged by one of its branches. Metaphysics tackles all that is, epistemology challenges how we may even speak of knowledge and logic stands behind all the marvels of our age. If you are an interested beginner, someone wishing to return to the discipline or even a current student then this course is for you. In this course we will tackle the basics of philosophy from Greece to France and to Germany. We will explore areas of metaphysics, logic, empiricism, rationalism and phenomenology. While such words may sound intimidating, within a short time they will loose their incomprehensible air. This course is taught by a seasoned and qualified tutor with half a decade of formal philosophical training alongside 2 years of in person philosophical teaching alongside another 2 years of philosophical tutoring. In addition you will be benefiting from an additional 4 years of teaching students of all levels from teenagers to young adults and beyond. This course also comes from a current philosopher currently publishing first class research in the field of phenomenology and the philosophy of love. This is a remote course taught from UK time zone. However, all time zones may be possible. The course has the possibility of being specialized for a specific need. If such is the case, the details will be arranged beforehand.

I recently graduated from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne with a degree in Philosophy, and would like to use my knowledge and methods to help any student who needs it. As a tutor with the ALVEUS association, I have learnt to manage several students at the same time—and at different levels—in literary courses: philosophy, french, history-geography, english, german. To this end, I offer free access to my Dropbox, where I regularly post documents (exercises, subjects, methods, textbooks, books), to make sure you don't miss out on anything. I'm also friendly and dynamic in my tutorials, which gives my students a rhythm to their work, although they don't hate it—quite the opposite, in fact. I usually give feedback to each parent about their child, indicating the subjects worked on, exercises completed, strengths and weaknesses identified and, finally, anticipate the next tutoring session by planning what remains to be done.
