I am currently in my last years of medical school in FMPR, I have been in Morocco since late 2019. I am Rwandan , English has always been my academic language throughout primary and secondary school until l came to Morocco .I had to take a year to improve my French level as I had to take my degree in French. I grew up participating and competing in public speaking , debates. Books are pretty much what got me through the boring years in boarding school. I love teaching ,I was blessed with an opportunity to get trained and work as an assistant teacher in physics and biology to kids around the same age as me soon as I got out of high school (2018-2019). My first year here ,I only had my French class for a couple hours a day which left me enough time to volunteer and I ended getting a job at the tutoring center for Cambridge students in Rabat before Covid breaks out. Even with the pandemic I was able to remotely help my students who had to pass their ASTs and IELTs . , yes I am indeed a student far away from home looking to make some extra income to support my life here , But I also genuinely want to make an impact on whoever needs my help in improving their communication skills in English.

For the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. My students have ranged in age, background, and origin, spanning children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and even seniors aged 85 and above. You might wonder why I teach both languages. Well, I am bilingual, with American and Swiss/French roots, and I currently reside in Ireland. This unique blend of experiences equips me with a strong and relevant teaching approach. I possess an intimate understanding of both cultures, enabling me to tailor my classes to the specific needs of my students. My teaching journey began during my time studying social work in French-speaking Switzerland. Even after graduating and embarking on a full-time career, I couldn't bear to give up this rewarding activity. Furthermore, I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and have operated a private "Before & Afterschool" facility along with Summer Camps catering to children aged 4 to 12 for many years. I offer you a German course that is not like the others. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you travel back and forth by train every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Memorise the timetable. 2) Realise that the train comes every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in textbooks and in normal lessons, the first approach is used - in the course I am offering you, it is the second approach because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both pupils and adults who want to learn the German language without time-consuming detours through the madness of fruitless school methods. Learning is easy, but unlearning things that have become bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, with my customised lessons you will greatly accelerate the learning process while having a positive attitude. I offer German lessons for individuals or groups (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive science and historical linguistics in particular. My modular programme can be adapted on a case-by-case basis. The converging point of these modules is your independence in spontaneous conversations in real life. What will not be covered in the course: learning lists of verbs; learning lists of nouns with articles; learning words with their translations; flashcards; doing school exercises; following the syllabus of a booklet; imposing the English grammar on the German language. What is particularly important to me: to motivate my student and to give him a learning rhythm; to encourage his creativity; to befriend him with the language; the letters and their sounds; to strengthen the memory by training the phonological loop; to teach blueprints instead of memorising sentences; to explain how the language works in order to make my student independent as quickly as possible; to eliminate common preconceptions, such as that 'der' would mean masculine and 'die' feminine, that the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, that verbs would be irregular, that declension would be random and therefore would have to be learnt with each verb...; to put practice at the centre and only deal with grammar where necessary.
