About Me

I am very glad to share my experience as a concert cellist to young musicians, and help goals to get achieved.
Exigence is a main criteria for me but is always related to the pupil's profile.
My teaching melts together different aspects such as the respect, love for the music, quality at each level, the ease of the player, and pleasure.

I also have another Master's degree from the first institution as well as a diploma in performance. My doctoral research focuses on the neuropsychology of music learning and its applications in performance. I had the pleasure of playing with orchestras and as a soloist at festivals in Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, as well as being the winner of several competitions and the recipient of numerous awards. I have more than 15 years of experience as an interpreter and pedagogue (even at university level as a lecturer). Fun Private Cello Lesson for Teenager's and Adults
Hello, I am thrilled to introduce myself as a devoted cellist and music enthusiast with a fervor for teaching adults. My journey in the realm of music has encompassed both professional performances and the joy of mentoring others. Here's a glimpse into what makes me a unique candidate for your musical journey. Cellist Extraordinaire: Having graced the stages of various orchestras and quartets, my journey as a cellist has been one of continuous growth and exploration. The melodies that resonate from my cello are a result of years of dedication, practice, and a deep connection to the art form. My experiences performing in diverse ensembles have not only refined my technical skills but also broadened my musical horizons. Teaching for the Love of Music: While music has been a significant part of my life, teaching has become an equally cherished pursuit. Guiding and inspiring others on their musical odysseys is a passion I wholeheartedly embrace. As a hobbyist instructor, I approach teaching with a sense of fun and creativity, fostering an environment where learning is an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Multilingual Communicator: My ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese enables me to connect with a broader range of students. Océane
Beginner piano lessons, mainly for children, at home!
The Piano can from childhood bring a lot of benefit to the child. Music trains the memory, the taste for effort but also the artistic sense, the musicality and all this in a playful way. The objective would be to teach the child (or anyone wishing to start the piano) the basics of the piano, passing of course by some notions of music theory, and accompanying the student in learning his first melodies. All this in pleasure, and sharing. I have been playing the piano since I was 7 years old, and reached the upper secondary level at the AVCEM exam when I was 15 years old. I also like to sing a lot while accompanying myself on the piano. I would very much like to pass on this taste for music and give the basics of this beautiful instrument. I am currently at the University of Geneva, which is why courses during weekends and school holidays would be the most practical for me. I am happy to travel to my home with a public transport subscription, but if necessary the student can come and take lessons at my place.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. Be sure to let me know if you have any questions and I will answer as soon as possible. See you soon! Richard PS: my specified hours are a guideline, if this does not suit you, you can certainly send us a message and we will try to arrange something :)

Ziad
Oud and oriental Arabic singing lessons with an experienced teacher
Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. With determination and hard work, significant progress can be made in a year, allowing one to play simple melodies. Please feel free to leave me a message, I will reply as soon as possible.

Gabriel
Piano lessons for all levels and ages. Relaxed teaching approach!
I have over 12 years of teaching experience and I have been working as a Professional Pianist for 7 years now, in 8 different countries (Switzerland, Austria, Iceland, Spain etc.) and on Luxury Cruise Ships (Worldwide). I can show you how to have fun with the piano. If you're a beginner, I can take you right from step one and have you playing familiar songs by the 1st or 2nd lesson. If you already have some experience, I can add to it. My main goal is helping you achieving your goals and preparing the best lesson for you! I've been playing and studying piano since age 6 (over 25 years ago). I began with classical music, and later added Ragtime, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, and Chord theory. I earned a Bachelor Degree in Piano Performance, Classical Music (4 years). I have participated in numerous Piano Masterclasses in Europe and I studied with great pianists. I still learn from different Highly Accomplished Musicians, I believe learning never stops. I have much to share with my students. TEACHING STYLE I am a very patient teacher. I love teaching all ages. I don't teach everyone the same way. I tailor lessons according to individual goals and needs. I insist on the importance of technique and musicality. I also guide all my students even outside of the teaching time, by responding to all their questions (music theory or technical) and sending them videos. I teach how to prevent Piano Injuries by focusing on proper technique, posture, and practice habits. My professional experience includes coaching students of all levels and ages. I successfully prepared the students with their Piano Exams like ABRSM, Trinity Grade, from grade 1-8, with merits and distinctions, and more advanced exams as well (Performance Diplomas). I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old and my youngest one has 3 years old. They made great progress, I am sure you could do the same. I've never met anyone who didn't have musical abilities! You can be a serious or a recreational player. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano. I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation. I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons. CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible. I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music. Piano/Keyboard - Alfred , Hal Leonard, Abrsm Grade (1-8), Trinity Grade (1-8), Hanon etc.
