I am bilingual in English and French, and I am originally from Toronto, Canada. I offer English conversation sessions tailored to your preferences and needs, whether in person or remotely. In addition to that, I obtained a master's degree and studied music. I have solid teaching experience, having taught harp to various audiences for several years. I am also available to provide academic support.

English has become an essential language in everyday life. My way of teaching this subject is unique to me and my students grasp it easily. My lessons focus on understanding English grammar techniques, vocabulary and phonetics. As for French, I insist a lot on French literature (novels, theater, poems) and also the methodology of the different exercises in French (dissertation, text contractions, text commentaries) In philosophy, there is also emphasis on the methodology of philosophical dissertation.

Have you dreamt of reading Shakespeare and making sense of his words ? Did you know that some Shakespearian plays are easier to tackle than others ? In this class we will be looking at one of Shakespeare's fantasy comedies or one of his tragedies. We will read the play together and discuss the usage of words, as well as its historical contexts. We will study the most important passages in the way they have influenced world culture. I encourage my students to memorise these passages by heart, a gratifying experience.

My lessons are fairly simple. I adapt to the student, his level and his personality. I graduated from the baccalaureate in European section (English). I have a B2 level, see C1 being acquired, therefore primary and middle school students will be perfectly under control with me. The objective is to make them progress and to put them in confidence :) Depending on the desired objective, my working methods vary. For example, when a student wants to improve speaking skills, I prefer oral exercises and everyday practice of the language with the help of videos or interactive dialogues. While putting the student in confidence and encouraging him. Conversely, if the desired objective is to acquire a certain fluency in writing, then exercises such as written comprehension or others are welcome. Obviously, the teaching remains complete and all the points necessary for the progress of the pupil will be perfectly covered. While looking for progression, I also try to make each student have a good time but also to transmit to them a certain culture, here English-speaking, which will allow them to enrich their personal culture but also to discover new things.
