Surprisingly, all thise things are actually quite helpful even if you don't want to become a lawyer. Understanding the law can help you know your rights better, it can help you solve problems more logically, it can help you write more concisely and more persuasively. Anywhere you go or whatever you want to do, somewhere along the line the law will be involved - if ever so slightly. And the best part is, there is always more to learn! Even the finest judges, or the most distinguished King's Counsel don't know everything about the law (although they;d be pretty bloody close). My knowledge of and experience with international law derives from my studies and my work. I graduated ‘cum laude’ from the Geneva Graduate Institute with an LLM in International Law and a specialisation in International Human Rights Law and International Humanitarian Law. Previously, I graduated ‘cum laude’ from The Hague University, with an LLB in International and European Law. I have extensive knowledge of the fields of international human rights law, international criminal law, international humanitarian law, law of international organisations, and public international law more broadly. I finished my studies only a couple of years ago, I can relate well to having to prepare for an exam or a paper, and enjoy sharing the tips that helped me improve and succeed.
