I have 15 years of experience teaching IB, MYP, Key Stage 3, A-Level, IGCSE Language and Literature, and World Literature. I have taught in multiple countries worldwide. My expertise lies in exam preparation, but I also teach English as an Additional Language and work with younger students. Over the past six years, all my students have passed their exams, with 80% achieving a 6 or 7 in the IB Diploma. My teaching approach is relaxed and student-focused. Recently graduated with a PhD in computer science from Télécom Paris, I obtained my engineering degree from the same school in August 2020. I received a scientific education through preparatory classes for grandes écoles and then in engineering school, and continued to study science during my doctorate specializing in computer science. I have been giving private science lessons since my first year of school, almost 7 years ago, at all levels. My goal is to help my students improve at their own pace, and to make them love scientific subjects while giving them back their self-confidence.

I offer to help you in English, HG or mathematics. Indeed, comfortable in these 3 subjects and having completed 2 years of preparatory class with very good results in the competitions, I can help you understand these concepts or even explain how to deal with subjects that you do not like. A teacher at heart, I seek at all costs to understand how my student works. Depending on his profile, I then apply simple exercises to boost his work efficiency. I am firmly convinced that all students are capable of success, you just need to identify the method that will work! The secret to success? Exercises ! There are only a limited number of exercises per lesson, so you just need to have done them all at least once to master the lesson as much as the teacher! My mission is therefore to make my student understand this and to motivate him so that he wants to do it. I was able to assist many students, and I was able to help students in difficulty to fill all their gaps (Average going from 3/20 to 12/20 after a few weeks of lessons) as well as help students in the average to excel! (Going from 13/20 to 18/20).

In this course I could work with any level. For lower levels and younger students I will focus on vocabulary and grammar and also of course speaking. For more advanced levels I will focus on writing and speaking skills.

I can help with all subjects in college (maths etc...) start working on plans and writing, whether in French or English. For high school I suggest you prepare for the French baccalaureate (dissertation), work on the plans and techniques applicable in philosophy, history and SVT. We can also exchange everything in English to gain fluency in speaking.

Thank you for your understanding and stay safe!** A passionate lover of the English culture and lifestyle, I have acquired official certification equivalent to Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) level, corresponding to level C2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (the highest level possible). After living in the United States for two years, I am currently pursuing a double major Anglais/Etudes Internationales at the Sorbonne University in Paris. My experience in France has taught me that due to the specific nature of the English language and the limited time to practice it, there is an issue when it comes to conversational English. This is what my lessons will focus on - everyday conversational English, correction of accent, learning about stress and sentence dynamics which help you to sound more natural and understanding of phonology and the IPA transcription. If you are shy when it comes to expressing yourself in front of others; if you find yourself lacking the "proper" expressions or tools to engage in everyday conversations; or if you just want to learn what does "hitting the books", "to lose your touch", or to "pitch in" mean - this class is probably for you. I am an experienced English teacher (3 years experience teaching the English language). In 2018, I taught English in Shanghai, China, and now I am based in Paris, France. I have experience giving one-on-one lessons, teaching in a classroom, and teaching English online. I am happy to teach to both children and adults. Student in second year of prep school integrated in logistic engineering school, I offer personalized support to students with difficulties / deficiencies. I offer courses covering all subjects from primary to high school but also high school mathematics courses. My goal is to put the student in confidence so that he can apprehend the exercises with insurance. I inform at the end of each course the progression of the student to his parents.

Always enjoying languages, I grew up in an international culture and school. I indeed lived 6 years in Italy during my childhood and therefore speak fluent Italian. This made it easier for me to learn English (obtaining Cambridge KET level in 6th grade) and German, which I present all three at the baccalaureate. I also learned Spanish on a personal basis by passion for languages! Having therefore learned four foreign languages myself, I am passionate about this objective and will take great pleasure in helping you achieve it. This course is therefore open to everyone, for discovery as well as for further study (up to level C2 in Italian, C1 in English and B2 in German).
