As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (USA). Even though music is universal, specific terms and method learning differ from one culture and another one. This is why I propose some individual courses of music and piano for people curions about discovering or maybe improving their artistic skills in the language of Moliere. At the beginning of the lesson, the student will be trained by some theory, not the best part for most people. But with the help of mnemotechnic methods, those basics won't have a secret for him/her anymore ;) Then, I will adapt the pratical part depending on the student's level...and will of course ;) He/She can bring the music piece he would like to play.

Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. The teaching is modern, adapted to each student and combines music theory and instrument.
