As a former professional bass player who accompanied various groups around the world (Louisiana Red, Champion Jack Dupree, John Thomas, Francisco Zumaque, Lou Blackburn, among others), I offer private jazz bass and double bass lessons. With nearly twenty years of experience in the music industry, I specialized in teaching music, particularly in the fields of jazz, blues and improvised music. I adopt a natural method of learning music that emphasizes listening and playing. Gradually, we introduce the reading of notes according to the rhythm of each student. Thanks to this approach, students are able to play from the first lesson. The last part of each session is devoted to practice through group play sessions (piano, double bass, drums). Classes take place in our private room located at Porte d'Orléans.
