Guitar lessons: learn the basics of the guitar and more according to your level

Graduate of the IMEP Paris College of Music, I offer courses to people of all ages wishing to embark on learning guitar and others wanting to improve their knowledge and technique. My objective as a teacher is to teach you a maximum of things according to the time you have to devote to the instrument, with the aim of satisfying to see you progress through a detailed follow-up that I would establish for each of you you! Each course will be divided into two parts: -For the beginners we will begin the course with a real work on the fundamentals (chords and major / minor scales, touch, accompaniment, melodic phrasing, game with the pick or the fingers). During the second part of the course we will study and work on a piece that I would consider accessible, composed or chosen, in order to test your talents. Each end of class will turn into a real concert! -For more advanced people I have the opportunity to transmit my knowledge through several styles such as jazz, bossa nova, rock, folk, funk, metal ... We will see together at first the basics to complete, the management of your sound, your technique, your rhythmic and melodic abilities according to the style you would like to study. In a second time we will alternate between a piece of my choice, and yours. Residing in Arcueil (94) I have the opportunity to receive at my home. I can also move to Paris and its surroundings. I propose courses or a help to musical work for the following disciplines: musical training (solfeggio), cello, piano, bass guitar, adapting to the needs of the student (theoretical or intonation gaps). I also propose, parallel or mainly, an introduction to improvisation. I do not have a prefabricated pedagogy, although I am inspired by the best that all my teachers could give me. Maybe you are using the wrong techniques and habits. so I show you how to do it. or for example: you are looking to master the Sweet picking on the electric guitar and it still sounds like a tortured cat. I'll be there to show you where things are wrong. the courses are mainly focused on practice, a bit of music theory anyway, to know what we are doing and why ?. and of course a good dose of good humor.

In my class you can learn to sing and accompany you playing the piano or the guitar. Course of a typical course: -30 min of piano / guitar -20 min of singing -10 min of vocals and guitar / piano But it is possible to choose only one discipline or two and to apprehend the course in a different way. Learning to play an instrument is an amazing skill to possess! I have been playing guitar for 12 years now and piano for 2 years. Playing instrument provides me with a hobby that is equal parts calming and fun, it brings joy to me and to others. It is best to start learning music at a young age however, it is never too late to pick up a new skill! I myself have recently tried learning the cello and it is exciting to say the least.
