As a jazz student at the 6th arrondissement conservatory, I offer accessible and fun guitar lessons. Classical, folk, electric, half-drum, ukulele, whatever your instrument, come and practice the repertoire of your choice in kindness. No prerequisites are necessary other than motivation, however at the student's request points of harmony, music theory or even ear training can be addressed. Inspired by methods like that of Mick Goodrick, I offer you an effective course which will allow you to progress quickly in styles as varied as Pop, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Gypsy Jazz and Reggae. and world music. My courses will suit you if you want: - Learn your favorite songs - Accompany you when you sing - Start improvising - Learn the basics of harmony or music theory in order to be able to compose better - Explore new sounds with the use of effect pedals - Get advice on purchasing a new guitar Classes take place in the 11th arrondissement of Paris in a studio accessible to disabled people and equipped with guitars, bass, pedals, amplification and microphones. Currently studying jazz guitar at a Parisian conservatory with Jean-Michel Huard. During my training course I had the opportunity to work with professionals such as Serge Merlaud, Romain Constant, Olivier Guymont and Siegfried Mandacé. I also perform regularly on stage in different jazz and contemporary music groups.

I offer private lessons of classical double bass and jazz as well as electric bass and guitar lessons on all styles of music for children and adults of all ages and all levels. My priority is that everyone takes pleasure in playing while progressing. My teaching is based on personalized musical follow-up: Discovery, Leisure, Methodical learning and Improvement. The repertoire will be chosen according to the desires of each student. I am convinced that the theoretical fundamentals, remain essential to be accomplished as a musician. However, it remains obvious to me that the practice of the instrument goes hand in hand with a more theoretical teaching. It is for this reason that my students touch the instrument from the first lesson. My teaching allows to acquire the musical fundamentals while having fun, without demotivation.

Genres taught: Pop, Folk, Jazz, Singer-songwriter, Funk, Blues, Rock The courses are aimed at all levels and are adapted to the wishes of the student. My goal is that everyone can get what they want from the lessons, and if that changes, the teaching style will change too. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
