Singer graduated from the CRR in Paris and a bachelor's degree in Montreal gives classes in Paris or via Skype! Find your "voice": develop your own

My teaching method is between a technical work, on voice and breathing; but also on a process of understanding his body and his voice. I use some psychological tools, which I use in Art Therapy, to help the student to better understand himself, and to raise awareness of his voice. I try to focus each course on a specific element, to develop the student in a logical and pleasant process.*** Work on the voice in a general way: by singing, speaking, learning to project one's voice through different emotions, developing one's relationship to one's voice and one's body, reconciling oneself with oneself; all to find his "voice"
*** Via Skype, ZOOM, or at my home (Paris)

_________
- Thank You to My Students -
I want to start by expressing my heartfelt gratitude to all my students who have taken the time to leave me thoughtful and positive reviews. Your kind words and detailed feedback truly mean a lot to me and motivate me to continue sharing my passion for music.
- Addressing the Negative Comment -
Regarding the one negative review: the student in question missed their first class due to oversleeping. Despite the platform's policy of no refunds for no-shows without notice, I offered to provide a free replacement class at my earliest availability following the busy holiday season. Unfortunately, the student declined my proposed date and instead suggested days outside my teaching schedule. After several exchanges, I had to pause communication due to other commitments. On the originally proposed date—which had not been confirmed—the student expected a class and subsequently left a negative review.
To show goodwill, I even refunded part of the fees (excluding the non-refundable registration fee).
- My Commitment and Expectations -
I am dedicated to offering high-quality lessons at an approachable rate, supported by my professional background and access to a brand-new Yamaha YUS5 piano. My goal is to make music accessible to those who love it. In return, I ask that students respect my time and effort by adhering to agreed-upon schedules and communication practices.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Together, we can create a positive and respectful environment for learning and growth.

My background as well as my skills in lyrical singing allow me to master my instrument well. I am a very curious and very patient person, and I like to find solutions to problems. Transmitting my passion to students wishing to discover or develop their voices, discover their artistic personality would be a great pleasure for me. If I can transmit this joy that I have from singing as well as my acquired knowledge, it would be a great exploration for them as for me.
Mia
Lyrical singing lessons for all levels in ParisAs a lyrical singer I had the opportunity to perform at an international level but also to continue to teach my profession.
My "teacher creed"
In vocal pedagogy, I would say that I always find myself "face to face" with a new and unique instrument - the voice: each student is unique and that is why we must look for individual didactic and methodological tools. This means that I am able to lead a singing lesson in different ways so that I can find the vocal exercises or personalized and appropriate pieces of music to get the most out of each student.
My vocal technique is based on breathing exercises, awareness of the whole body as an instrument, knowledge of the biological principles of breathing as well as the artistic meaning of breathing. My basic goals are: to maintain a feeling of high position while singing (singing with resonance), binding purely distinctive vowels (legato singing), developing the range of a voice step by step and balancing the vocal registers.
While "building" the voice, I take the assessment and development of a student's personality seriously, which I think is undeniable in arts education. It also consists in knowing the appropriate repertoire according to the vocal development of each student.

Charlotte
Private singing lessons - all styles and levelsHello and welcome !
My name is Charlotte, I am a singing teacher and professional opera singer.
I graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris at the highest level with honours and I have a Masters in Opera Singing from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London, where I have won several prizes. I am the recipient of a prestigious scholarship from the Malvina and Denise Menda Foundation of the Fondation de France. I also have a BA in Art History from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Art History from the Courtauld Institute.
I teach the principles of vocal technique that form the basis of all singing styles: finding an ideal posture and alignment of the body and the air column and eliminating unnecessary tension; optimizing breathing and support (singing with the whole body); beauty and homogeneity of the voice in all registers (homogeneity especially in lyrical singing); clear and precise articulation in all languages. Of course, these bases adapt differently depending on the styles and offer keys to freeing the voice, and not to restricting the singer!
My teaching is holistic and I take into account the whole person with great sensitivity. The voice is at the center of the body and mind, and singing unifies the two. I deeply believe in the well-being that singing brings and its power to release. My life as an artist began as a classical dancer (I was a dancer in the young dancers program at the Royal Opera House, London) and this taught me a good awareness of my body and how to transmit it to others. Singing is mastered by listening to one's body. I also practice meditation and yoga at a high level and I transmit these techniques of connection to the body and breath, and the state of relaxation that they bring.
In my teaching, accuracy, solfege and precision are very important. I was first a violinist and I was a member of one of the prestigious choirs of the University of Cambridge during my degree. So I have a good ear that developed further during these trainings.
Singing is above all communication and my mission is to allow everyone to express their authentic and unique voice. I am passionate about theater and the art of communicating our sincere emotions and those of the characters we play. Vocal technique gives us the means, but it is the connection to oneself and to the meaning of the music and the text that allows us to express ourselves fully and sincerely. It is a work that fascinates me as much as that of vocal technique. All the more so, the connection to emotion broadens the palette of colors of the voice, without which we can only produce beautiful sound.
My classes usually last an hour. Typically, I start my classes with breathing exercises and body observation. We continue with warm-ups and vocalizations to work on technique. Then we work on the repertoire of your choice. I can also advise you on the repertoire of all styles.
Looking forward to reading from you and working together!
Marta
