Jan Wijn and graduated with the highest score among piano students (Bachelor of Music, piano). He played several solo and chamber music concerts in concert hall, church, museum, library, hospital and elderly houses. He is regularly invited by Belgium Chamber music festival to play with famous musicians such as guitarist philip Catherine. Recently he graduated master degree in Brussels Conservatorium studying with prof. Boyan Vodenitcharov. Since he has a lot of knowledge of harmonization and counterpoints, he has composed and arranged many works and played many of his own pieces in concerts. Asako will give the cello lessons. She has master degree, cello performance and chamber music, also has an academic university diploma for Musicology. She studied in Japan, Hungary (Franz Liszt Academy), Norway (Norway Academy of Music), and Netherlands (Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Utrecht Conservatoire).She can teach in Japanese, English and on a basic level in Hungarian and French. I am a professional lyric soprano graduated from the CNSM of Lyon. I participate in productions with the Concert d'Astrée, the Choir of Namur, Accentus, the Opéra National de Lorraine, Choir de la Chapelle Harmonique. I am also on the lists of the Montpellier Opera, Concert Spirituel, Ensemble Correspondances and Radio France choir. I have just finished a production of Haydn's Die Schöpfung at the Opéra National de Lorraine last January-February, conducted by Marta Gardolinska (Guillaume Fauchère choir director), directed by Kevin Barz. I sang solo and in chorus the role of the Trojan woman in Campra's Idomenée in 2021 at the Lille Opera and the Berlin Staatsoper, staging of the fura dels baus, I also sang the solo of Campra's Requiem at the philharmonies of Luxembourg, Lille, Essen Cologne and Berlin with the Concert d'Astrée in 2019 directed by Emmanuelle Haïm. In 2019, I participated in the production of Les Indes Galantes by Rameau with the Namur Choir at the Opera Bastille, directed by Leonardo Garcia Alarcon and directed by Clement Cogitore. In 2022, I participated in numerous productions, notably with the Accentus choir in Beethoven's 9th symphony, the missa solemnis or even a polyphonic baroque project. In 2022 I participated in the production of Hulda by Cesar Franck with the Namur Choir at the Grand Manège de Namur, the Liège Philharmonic and the Théatre des Champs Elysées. My background as well as my skills in lyrical singing allow me to master my instrument well. I am a very curious and very patient person, and I like to find solutions to problems. As a lyrical singer I had the opportunity to perform at an international level but also to continue to teach my profession. Since returning to Seattle in 2020, he has worked with The 5th Avenue Theatre, one of the most prestigious musical theatres in the United States, as a pianist, music director and vocal coach. Hello and welcome ! My name is Charlotte, I am a singing teacher and professional opera singer. I graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris at the highest level with honours and I have a Masters in Opera Singing from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London, where I have won several prizes. I am the recipient of a prestigious scholarship from the Malvina and Denise Menda Foundation of the Fondation de France. I also have a BA in Art History from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Art History from the Courtauld Institute. I teach the principles of vocal technique that form the basis of all singing styles: finding an ideal posture and alignment of the body and the air column and eliminating unnecessary tension; optimizing breathing and support (singing with the whole body); beauty and homogeneity of the voice in all registers (homogeneity especially in lyrical singing); clear and precise articulation in all languages. Of course, these bases adapt differently depending on the styles and offer keys to freeing the voice, and not to restricting the singer! My teaching is holistic and I take into account the whole person with great sensitivity. The voice is at the center of the body and mind, and singing unifies the two. I deeply believe in the well-being that singing brings and its power to release. My life as an artist began as a classical dancer (I was a dancer in the young dancers program at the Royal Opera House, London) and this taught me a good awareness of my body and how to transmit it to others.
