LYRIC EDUCATION COURSE FOR BEGINNERS AND CONFIRMED

Young professional opera singer, tenor, with a Master's degree in singing at the CNSMD Lyon, I give lessons to students of all levels. I propose a work centered on the technique in harmony with the body, to (re) find the natural and the comfort while seeking the musicality and expression. We can work as much for the discovery of the voice as for pleasure, or in the preparation of deadlines (competitions, auditions, concerts, preparation to join a choir, etc.), always in a good mood! I offer lessons of an hour or an hour and a half according to your preferences and I accompany the students on the piano or guitar as needed. I alternate according to the wishes and needs of a student of the courses - where we start with 30/45 minutes of technique: breathing exercises, posture, vocalizations then the remaining time to apply this to a piece (brought by the student or under my suggestion) - centered on music and interpretation, with a quick warm-up of between 10 and 15 minutes then a deeper dive into a piece, its musical and literary interpretation, and its style. Classes can also be given in English or Spanish. Possibility of doing lessons in the 12th arrondissement with a pianist who accompanies for a small supplement, more information by message.

My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

I can't teach you to sing in one hour. It's no secret. But I can help you feel your voice. Discover it for yourself. And with your voice, feel yourself a little more! I can and would like to share my knowledge and skills, as I have dedicated more than half of my life to music. These can be both fun and easy lessons, and serious and intensive ones, it all depends on your needs! I can work on both classical and pop vocals. Of course, the lessons include work on breathing, diction, musical aspects and filling, spiritual filling. The voice is inextricably linked with the human body, we will refer a lot to your feelings and movements while singing. I can also help prepare a specific song for your goal! Or prepare for entering university. (I also want to add that I have only been living in the Netherlands for half a year and my English is not perfect at all, but I am improving it every day.) During the recording we do singing exercises and you learn the basic singing technique. This consists of breath support, learning to sing pure tones (voicing) and articulation. I also pay attention to your presentation and the artistic aspects of singing (emotion and passion!). I accompany my students on the piano.
