History, English, and ancient history tuition from an Oxford ancient and modern history student. I love these subjects, but they can all be tough exams, especially at GCSE and A level. These subjects need both technique and subject knowledge, which can be difficult to combine. I am happy to work on techniques for any topic, though I'd appreciate if you send the exam board over beforehand. English Lit texts: A Thousand Splendid Suns, Wuthering Heights, Hamlet, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Wife Of Bath, Poems Of The Decade, The Tempest, Macbeth, Lord Of The Flies, and Jekyll And Hyde. Please ask about other texts, as I am happy tutoring on techniques. Ancient history: Julio-Claudian and Flavian Rome, fifth century Greece, particularly Sparta. History: USA 1865-1975, medieval, Tudor and post-war to present Britain
