Hi, I have a master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and a degree in East Asian Studies with a mention in Korea from the University of Malaga. I give Spanish and Korean classes, both for reinforcement for EAO students and for those who want to start studying. Both in person and online. In the classes I work above all with a communicative and grammatical approach in a dynamic and fun way. I have lived for more than two years in Korea. My first contact with Korea was in 2017 after doing a summer course at Sungkyunkwan University and then I went as an exchange student at the University of Seoul and Kyungpook National University (2021-22), in the latter I did the language program Korean from TOPIK level 3 to 5 (B1-C1) I am also accredited by the Instituto Cervantes as a DELE examiner for levels A1-A2-B1-B2, School A1+A2/B1. I have taught Korean for several years and taught Spanish at the University of Seoul and at an academy in Osaka. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
