In Reading Therapy we will work on understanding where your difficulties or challenges lie. We will work on: Phonemic Awareness Phonemic Blends Sight Words Decoding Syllable Recognition and breaking words up into Syllables Reading Speed CVC blends CVCC blends Beginning and ending sound blends Reading rules and so much more... During each lesson we will work on building this skill by starting where the person is at, revising skills touched on, and building their confidence towards where they could be, because believing in yourself, is the first step to progression.

I have more than [four years] of experience in teaching the Quran to children and adults, based on a systematic approach that helps learners recite and memorize the Holy Quran in an easy way that is consistent with the rules of Tajweed. It is the Noorani Qaida 🌹🤍In Europe, our children need to adhere to the Holy Quran, at least reading it in the midst of the European languages that dominate our children. 💐My goal is to simplify the recitation of the Holy Quran and make its memorization easy and accessible, regardless of the student's level or age. I believe in the importance of using innovative methods that make learning fun and motivating for students, and I am keen to build a strong relationship with learners, which helps them improve their Quranic skills and interact more deeply with the meanings of the Holy Quran. Through my work as a Quran teacher, I aim to deliver the tolerant message of Islam and instill a love for the Quran in the souls of learners, relying on an educational methodology that suits their needs. 💐I always strive to develop myself and learn the latest educational methods to ensure that I provide the best I have to my students, whether they are in the elementary or advanced stages of learning the Holy Quran. 💐By using the Noorani Qaida of Sheikh Noor Muhammad Haqqani, may God have mercy on him, the student can read directly from the Holy Quran easily and smoothly after a number of lessons, so that the child does not get immersed in complex Tajweed lessons.

I am a young lady in my twenties who is an English native. I am a psychologist by profession and have had experience working with students with learning disabilities although not certified. I have one year experience of teaching English online and one year experience of teaching our local language called Shona to non-Shona speakers. I love communicating with people from different walks of life so I to am a language learner. I speak very little Korean, little Portuguese and am working towards perfecting the two languages.

I've been an educator for over 20 years and have a Master's degree in Specific Learning Differences. I specialize in working with students with dyslexia and/or ADHD in literacy and math and am Orton-Gillingham trained. I've taught in public and private schools in the US, Singapore, and Bali, and I have been a private tutor for more than 10 years. My goal is to help kids build competence and confidence in foundational skills through individualized instruction that fits their evolving needs. I am currently based in Asia and available to work with students remotely worldwide. I am also able to coach parents on accommodating their children's needs at home.

Decoding is a key skill that can unlock many opportunities, however the English language can be challenging to acquire. Through using proven teaching methods I am able to develop phonics skills to develop proficient, confident readers. Supporting pupils to successfully pass screeners or pupils with suspected or diagnosis of dyslexia to develop their reading skills to support them in accessing more opportunities in the world. I am a qualified teacher obtaining a BSc in Psychology from UCL and PGCE in Science from Canterbury Christ Church with over 15 years of experience working with young people. I am a passionate teacher, who enjoys supporting individuals learn and grow. In addition to this I am a qualified and practicing SENDCo, which requires the wider leadership and implementation of adapting teaching techniques to support individual's learners needs and development of skills to ensure progress.

I am currently a student and in order to finance my studies, I am offering you a course in a field that I particularly like: reading. I am very patient so I could happily help your child learn to read if he is struggling or just improving if he can already read.

I provide one on one virtual dyslexia therapy using Take Flight: A Comprehensive Reading Intervention for Students with Dyslexia. The curriculum was created for children who have been identified with Dyslexia. It is an individualized Orton-Gillingham based approach which addresses all areas of language development needed to create successful spellers, readers and writers. What is Dyslexia therapy? Intervention for dyslexia directly, explicitly and systematically teaches an awareness of the sounds of language, letter-sound associations, vocabulary and strategies for understanding written language. Guided, repeated practice enables the child to apply what they have learned efficiently. Intensity (e.g., smaller group size, extended length of sessions and treatment, more individualized lessons) is what distinguishes dyslexia intervention from regular reading instruction. We are retraining the Dyslexic brain by lighting up the parts of the brain that are working well, and helping to compensate for the part that is weaker. Who can teach Take Flight? I have been certified to teach Take Flight, only certified practitioners may utilize the Take Flight program. The program was created at the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia & Learning Disorders at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, Texas. It is a highly effective, multi-sensory, explicit, systematic phonetic method of instruction for both reading and spelling. We start at the phoneme level of language, at very basic skills, and progress to the more nuanced skills such as morphology and etymology. How often do children need therapy? This program is intended to be taught 5 times a week for 45 minutes each session or 4 times a week for 60 minutes each session. If necessary, we can make accommodations for timing. Therapy is a marathon, not a sprint.

Teaching the Arabic language and the Holy Qur’an in the Noorani way for adults and children, and a memorization of the Holy Qur’an with Tajweed and corrected recitation. Our lesson is a simplified explanation of the rules of the language and reading, and we learn everything related to the Arabic language and the Qur’an easily and conveniently, and communication for non-Arabic speakers in English.

I have 5 years of classroom teaching experience and am currently pursuing a masters in education. I have experience teaching primary and secondary, specifically with teaching students to read, math, writing, science, and history. I have tutored extensively during my time teaching and am comfortable creating engaging lessons that will target students individual needs and create growth.

My approach to teaching is tailored to each individual's needs. I believe in building a strong foundation of mathematical concepts while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through interactive lessons and real-world examples. I encourage variety of textbooks and resources commonly used in the UK curriculum, including CGP revision guides for SAT AND 11+. I also leverage digital tools and online platforms to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for my students.Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring new ways to incorporate technology into my lessons, as well as volunteering in my local community. I have trained in the Orton Gillingham approach for developing reading techniques for students with Dyslexia and reading difficulties. I focus on developing phonemes awareness and blending and segmenting words to create a foundational base for students. Students will develop Phonemic awareness and use various modalities to develop reading and writing skills.

Having worked as a qualified English Tutor in Singapore for 7 years, I have extensive experience in teaching reading proficiency to early learners. The class is especially useful for young learners with Dyslexia. The class will look to bring about reading proficiency through a progressive and systematic approach. For young learners just starting out on their reading journey, I will build up your child's basic to advanced levels of phonemic awareness.

This private course is designed to support all types of learners with the foundational skills needed for developing their reading and/or math fluency. I'm a Master Teacher with 8 years of classroom teaching and 5 years of private tutoring experience. I draw from the Orton-Gillingham methods for teaching reading and spelling to support students with dyslexia and other learning challenges. We'll get to know one another, assess the student's current level and create an individualized plan for the student during our first hour-long class.
