SAT/PSAT Preparation: Mathematics, Reading and Writing Skills
Time management techniques, tricks for reading, all maths topics... those are just some of the few things we will cover in the class. My preferred method is that when you already know 80% of what you need to know, we can move on to practice full tests.

SAT and ACT Online Prep - Prepare for the NEW Digital SAT Test
I've been preparing students to take US standardized admission tests for the last 7 years. I specialize in the Math section of these exams. My one-on-one classes are tailored to my student's needs and I'm 100% committed to increasing their scores by teaching them not only the basics of Math but also strategies to hit high-difficulty questions. Here are some characteristics of my online classes: * I prefer google meets but I'm open to using any other platform (skype, zoom, Webex, etc) * Lecture notes are saved on a PDF file so students can revise them and study after class (I use a graphic tablet to make notes and solve practice problems) ------ No additional costs for course materials (books) and practice tests ------ * Students have free access to the best Math resources: Official Practice Tests, Collegeboard Practice Problems, CollegePanda, Kaplan, Barrons, etc.

Leila Shamira
SAT, SAT Math 1, SAT Math 2, GMAT, GRE, GRE Math 1 and 2
Dear students and parents, I am an enthusiastic and hard-working multilingual (English, Russian, Turkish, Azerbaijani) Math and Statistics educator and Data Analyst with 12 years of teaching and 16 years of research experience in an international environment. Focused on an outcome-based approach to progress and deadline-oriented. I usually hear from parents, that I make their kids love math, and it makes me the happiest teacher. First, as a Math Teacher, my main aim is to encourage students to analyze the problem carefully and find different solutions for one question. This method helps students to choose the easiest way of solution for her/him during the exam and finish it in time. I teach students both ways how to solve questions without a calculator with math tricks, and how to use a calculator more effectively. As you know in the exam there might be non-calculator and calculator papers. Moreover, this ability helps students not only to understand the math subject deeply but also will be very helpful during their adult life. Having teaching experience (Math and Statistics) in one of the top universities in the US (UW-Madison) helped me see the path of a student from the school bench to the university auditorium. Only by working in both school and university, you can understand what is better to learn for a student to be helpful in the future university years and how to show the connection between the math SAT and math at the university level. Years of hands-on work experience and a keen interest in Math teaching as a profession (in both school and university), as a deep understanding of the connection between school and university Math have prepared me well to see the strengths and weaknesses of the student and how to use that strong side of a student to improve the gaps that student earned in her/his earlier years. Therefore, I believe that all these experiences will help me smoothly raise the level of my students and succeed in their future lives. Sincerely, Leila

SAT & ACT American syllabus EST and in all branches of mathematics (from Egypt) British syllabus: • IGCSE: OL & A-level, Cambridge and Edexcel &
I explain the topics with solving problems from the previous exams in an easy way and make the student participate in the solution during the class and give a quiz after each class to the student with the homework as well. There is continuous follow-up to improve the student’s level after each class, weekly and monthly. I take into account all the levels of weak, medium, good, very good and excellent. If the class is group, I divide the students according to the level so as to assign each group an appropriate method and means of explanation.

SAT Math(Algebra, Data Analysis, Advanced Math) Preparation with Experienced Teacher
Hi everyone! I have been teaching private courses in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics for 9 years. It is my passion to prepare my students for the future with school and exam studies. When I won the Anatolian Teacher High School in Istanbul in 2008 and Boğaziçi University in 2012, my biggest goal was to be a reliable role model for my students in the future. I am very happy that I have now made this dream come true since the year I entered university. Until this time, I have taught private lessons at secondary, high school and university level to numerous students from Turkey and abroad. I still continue to give private lessons on the online platform and teach Physics at an International School in Istanbul where California Education Standards (Cognia) are adopted. It is my passion to prepare my students for the future with school and exam studies. I am currently teaching for SAT Exam Preparation. SAT Subject Tests includes Physics, Math, Chemistry and Biology. I can teach both IB and American Curriculum as well. I teach my lessons on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Classroom, depending on the student' request. Inquiry Based Learning which I have adopted as a teaching method; it enables me to teach lessons based on inquiry and always keeping the student & teacher dialogue dynamic. I strive to progress depending on the age and level of the student. For this, I aim to explain myself, the way I study and understand my student's expectations and level. After the level has been determined, it is of great importance for me that the student knows the lesson plan and draft as well and adheres to the jointly agreed schedule. I share pdfs and documents that I have prepared before the class and use the books by Pearson, Serway, Nowicki, Sarquis and so on for University & Secondary School Level. For Middle School, I use HMH Science Modules etc. I do emphasize the importance on giving homework/assignment and return as giving ''feedforwards'' for my students. As someone in love with her job, it is my greatest motivation to direct the students to professions they can do with love. In this course, you will able to learn following topics: 1. Heart of Algebra Analyzing and fluently solving equations and systems of equations; creating expressions, equations, and inequalities to represent relationships between quantities and to solve problems; rearranging and interpreting formulas. 2. Problem Solving and Data Analysis Creating and analyzing relationships using ratios, proportions, percentages, and units; describing relationships shown graphically; summarizing qualitative and quantitative data. 3. Passport to Advanced Math Rewriting expressions using their structure; creating, analyzing, and fluently solving quadratic and higher-order equations; purposefully manipulating polynomials to solve problems. 4.Additional Topics in Math Making area and volume calculations in context; investigating lines, angles, triangles, and circles using theorems; and working with trigonometric functions
