Translated by Google. Click to view original.
We will study the chemistry of carbon and also how covalent bonds are formed and then we will study
[1] Hydrocarbon compounds
[2] Fats: The function of fats is to store energy for later reuse.
[3] Proteins are one of the main building blocks for building cells in the body and stimulating chemical reactions. They consist of oxygen, hydrogen, carbon, and nitrogen, to form what are called amino acids.
[4] DNA is the storage center for genetic information in the cell. Examples of DNA include deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA).

Mavi
IGCSE, IB MYP, and GCSE courses for all levels Math, Physics and Science
I am Mavi, a physics engineer working at an aerospace company. I have been teaching private lessons at the primary, secondary, high school, and university preparatory levels for 9 years. I teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, and science. I have a good command of the curricula of IB, IGCSE, American, Hong Kong, and international schools. Additionally, I hold the position of president at the Astronomy Society, where I foster my students' interest in astronomy and science beyond the lessons. I prepare the learning environment by incorporating experiments and exploration, moving away from rote education. I often bring experimental materials to class, aiming to make learning memorable through hands-on experiments. As an educational mentor, I approach my students as if they were my siblings, valuing creativity. I have a deep passion for mathematics, physics, and science. I am dedicated to helping students understand and learn because life encompasses both SCIENCE and ART. The more people I can inspire to know, understand, and love mathematics, physics, and chemistry, the more proud I am. Are you curious about how nature works? Let's explore together!

Mathematics, Sciences, Algebra, Calculus, Statistics: Higher Education - private lessons.
Need help with math and science (physics, chemistry,...)? As a civil engineer, 31, I am happy to help you! Learn at your pace and with many examples to clarify the learning material. I have years of experience in teaching simple and complex material. The lessons run as follows. First of all, together we look for the student's biggest stumbling blocks. These can be related to the subject matter as well as to the study method. From there, I continue to work at the pace of the student and encourage them to ask as many questions as possible. I also give them tips and tricks, and improve their working methods where necessary. During the lesson I give many examples to make the subject matter more interesting and we solve exercises together. Once the student has mastered the exercises from the lesson, I give some more challenging exercises to also test on the deeper understanding of the subject matter. In this way I try to optimally prepare the student for his / her test or exam. However, learning should also be enjoyable. That is why I always strive for a good relationship with the student through a spontaneous and positive approach. I am also very patient. All this lowers the barrier to ask questions and improves the student's learning process. Are you interested? Do not hesitate to contact me! See you soon! Tim

Rukhsar
Tutoring for ages- 3-11- Qualified teacher with PGCE and QTS.
I was first placed in a reception class; there I was with a particularly challenging year group as they were the first post-covid class to resume normal in-person education. The group had a high level of SEND needs, including ADHD, autism and dyslexia, but specifically SEMH and anxiety caused by the pandemic; I was challenged with supporting the children in transitioning into full-time school. During my time with this class, I was able to observe and hold intervention for students with SEND, with the awareness that early identification and support is imperative. I regularly taught across the EYFS curriculum, and it was a good opportunity for me to develop my teaching, particularly in phonics and math’s. It also allowed me to understand adaptive teaching and include it in my lesson planning, ensuring that learning was accessible for all. Throughout placement, I showed a clear understanding of the EYFS frameworks and national curriculum. I consistently referred to the teaching standards and maintained a high level of professionalism. Safeguarding was at the forefront of everything I did as nothing is more important than the welfare of students, and I would continue in going above and beyond with this. Working with a Year 2 class who were preparing for their end of KS1 SATs tests. Going from reception to year 2 allowed me to gain experience across the ages and curriculum, with year 2 studying all foundation subjects rather than the condensed reception curriculum. During this placement, my teaching percentages rapidly increased, and I worked my way up to 80% of the timetable. I worked with the class to help them prepare and recap for their SATs and held interventions where necessary. At the end of teaching days, I also took the time out to reflect on the lessons I taught, with an aim to improve and better myself. With this class, I specifically worked on assessment, both formative and summative, across subjects; I regularly joined meetings about data, assessments and moderation. Currently, working as a supply teacher has allowed me to gain experience in working with a range of different age groups and schools. As part of this position, I carry out the duties of a class teacher, including lesson planning, consulting with parents and maintaining records of student’s progress. When working at new schools, I always ensure to build a rapport with both staff and students to enable me to teach to the best of my ability. I continue to promote high levels of class engagement and good behavior. I also have experience teaching EAL students.
