I have students from various high schools in Turkey and besides that I also teach AP Microeconomics&Macroeconomics at a high school in Istanbul. I have a PhD in economics from Georgetown University and I have worked as an Associate Professor of Economics and Finance in various universities in Turkey. With 10 years of experience as a Professor of Economics I do not let the students memorize the concepts. This course aims to provide a fundamental understanding of the principles and practices of accounting. Students will learn how to record, classify and interpret the financial transactions of a business. The course covers key concepts such as: Financial statements: Balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement. The accounting cycle: Recording transactions, adjustments, and preparation of financial statements.
