Are you in need of Spanish language tuition in London or online? I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish teacher with a background in languages and a passion for teaching. Coming from a trilingual family, I speak Spanish, Portuguese, and English fluently and hold a first-class BA in History with Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Leeds. After a decade-long career in law, I then changed profession to pursue my original love for languages. Having taught Spanish to secondary school students in London for three years, I now focus on private tutoring full-time. Whether you're looking for formal public exam preparation or a tutor to practise everyday conversational skills with, I'm ready and willing to help. My hour-long lessons are designed to be an open and encouraging space in which students can practise and improve their language skills. I am a medical student at the University of Birmingham. Having gone through the process of applying to medical school and achieving all a*s and a's at GCSE, As and A-level and also receiving all 4 of my medical school interviews, I am well aware of how the applications process and exams work and how the volume of content can be overwhelming at times. I am able to give tips and advice on how to cope with exams and university applications along with ways to keep on top of everything. I have also tutored at children from primary school age (including 11+) through to a levels and volunteered at the children's ward at the royal free hospital and so am well aware of how every child is different and how to communicate effectively with them all. Having worked at a tuition center tutoring children from as young as primary age all the way through to a-level, I understand that everyone is different and learn at different paces and in different ways. I am an innovative thinker and so like to come up with new ways to explain content which will keep my students engaged and enjoying the topics whilst fully understanding them. I understand that quantity and quality are both important during exams and so aim to cover a few topics in detail in each session. I also like to consolidate these topics with a few exam questions at the end of each session to ensure that my students are able to apply their knowledge as the application has become a focal point in many of the new syllabuses. I also try to add in an exam question at the start of the next session to ensure that information has properly been understood and retained. I am flexible in teaching style and pace as I understand that not everyone learns in the same way.

English can be a subject many find hard while at school. My aim as a private tutor is to get my students to learn to like English as well as improve their grades. I teach a range of ages and levels. One hour or more depending on how the student feels. After an initial test a solid plan will be made for the student so that the outcomes of the course are outlined from the start. Every 6 weeks a progress test will be given so that we can mionitor the progress being made and allow for more challenging opportunities. I love the subject I teach and I hope to omit that onto my student so that they avidly want to attend my lessons and leave feeling as though they have gained knowledge.
