I specialized in tutoring Microeconomics and Macroeconomics for students in IB and AP programs. I have students from various high schools in Turkey and besides that I also teach AP Microeconomics&Macroeconomics at a high school in Istanbul. I have a PhD in economics from Georgetown University and I have worked as an Associate Professor of Economics and Finance in various universities in Turkey. With 10 years of experience as a Professor of Economics I do not let the students memorize the concepts. Instead I ensure that they get the logic and they are able to apply theoretical concepts to real life issues.

History is a challenging subject at both GCSE and A Level, both in terms of understanding and remembering the copious amounts of content as well as learning how to jump through the hoops of exam technique. This class is designed, by a former student who is now studying history at university, to assist in both obtaining the highest possible grade in history, but also to spread my passion for history and hopefully create a long lasting interest in my pupils. I am also able to help with other items which I studied at A Level, namely Religious Studies and Economics. In addition to this, I can provide assistance with the Oxford HAT test as I scored highly in it despite not being accepted.

Financial literacy is an important skill for kids to learn at an early age. I know many adults who would have loved learning about it earlier. They will learn about saving money, spending money wisely, and managing their finances. First, they will learn and think about how and why saving money: - short-term and long-term goals they can save for (e.g. a toy, a trip, college education). - how to create a budget and track their spending. - Compound interest and the impact of starting to save early. How to spend money wisely: - difference between needs and wants. - how to compare prices and make informed purchasing decisions. - learn what is impulse buying and method to take the time to think before spending.
