I am a professional actor-musician, who is offering classes in acting, singing technique, and acting through song. I am a graduate of Manchester School of Theatre and have worked professional around the UK in plays, on screen, and in musical theatre. Whether you're looking to audition for drama school, a professional working actor wanting to brush up on their singing, or an amateur looking to do something creative for fun, I'm ready to tailor the classes to what you need. I am an experienced private tutor who has also worked in schools with children 1:1 and in big groups. I have also taught adults as well, alongside the ABRSM syllabus if they choose. I am based in London and can commute to people's houses or can do remote lessons. I am classically trained and have completed my Undergraduate at the Royal College of Music and my MA at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I have performed as a singer for lots of large scale events and big opera companies/choirs across the world.

Initially trained from a young age in classical singing, I later moved on to do jazz and contemporary styles and then decided to move to London to study Music Performance and Production at LCCM. Over the years I came to an important realization. Although music and singing technique is extremely important, the purpose of music is to convey emotion. I feel this is an aspect that is quickly overlooked but makes the difference in being able to make an audience remember you or not. These aspects of the authenticity of voice and performance I focus on in my classes. It doesn’t matter which age or which singing level you currently are - everyone is welcome in my classes. I truly believe that anyone can sing and that everyone should experience the joy of singing.

Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

We will cover playing for all levels, correct left-hand use, synchronizing with the right hand, handling the pick, tuning the Oud, and effectively using a tuner and metronome. In the remaining time, we will dive into reading musical notes, starting with basic Solfege and progressing to advanced and oriental Solfege, including dictation exercises. Growing up in the musical world, with a drummer father and a singer mother, Music is an integral part of my life. After several volunteer projects, I was spotted at Disneyland Paris for larger projects (8000 people per evening). I then obtained a certification as a "Singer in Current Music", with an impressive result of 49.63 out of 50. My last Gala was that of the "Pièces Jaunes" for Mrs. Brigitte Macron.
