I am a professional violin teacher with 15 years of teaching experience based in Maastricht and I offer fun and productive lessons to people of all kind of ages and levels. I currently divide my time between teaching violin and playing as Co-Principal second violin at Philharmonie Zuidnederland, as well as freelancing in other orchestras like Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonisch Orkest and Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest. I gained my Bachelor's Degree from the Royal College of Music in London with a specialization in teaching and a Master's Degree from Musikhochschule Lübeck. I was an academist at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in 2017/2018. Both my parents are violin teachers, so this is my world since I can remember. As soon as I started conservatory in London I started teaching privately and in a music school while I was studying performance and music pedagogy. I am proud to have very high-level students that have pursued a career in music and have become exceptional violinists. My aim in the lessons is to help my students improve their technique and musicality, as well as keep them motivated. For optimal development, I organize frequent lessons with the piano accompanist as well as a two class concerts per year in various locations around Maastricht. I also organize collective classes where we play for each other and discuss topics like, for example, practicing techniques. Because I am always fully committed to my students, I like to study each case individually and prepare for each lesson beforehand. My teaching method includes a very large list of repertoire, ranging from ABRSM, Trinity and Suzuki methods to standard violin repertoire. I teach at home in Scharn Noord, but I can also travel to students' homes by bike or car. Lessons can be in Dutch, English or Spanish.

I am currently studying at the Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK) and have already completed my master's degree in chamber music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) and my concert diploma at the Trossingen University of Music. I want to pass on my acquired knowledge and experiences to all those who love music. In my courses, I not only help prepare for exam programs but also support beginners in developing a solid musical foundation. Suzuki believes that everyone can learn music in the right environment. I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies).
