I've been a drummer for almost 20 years now, and I've graduated from both Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music (classical percussion) and Mons Royal Conservatory of Music (pedagogy). I've been teaching percussion, the drums and music theory for a little more than 4 years now. My students are always the real actors of my courses. No matter what instrument you are learning, be it percussion, the drums, marimba, vibraphone, or music theory, I always pay close attention to your personal goals, and together we devise a unique learning plan that adapts to your strengths as well as your weaknesses. My courses are aimed at anyone who is willing to put effort into learning music; children or adults, complete beginners or more advanced players who wish to receive additional feedback and insight. Autonomy, creativity, curiosity and listening skills are the true pillars of my methodology. We pay as much attention to technique as to musicality or listening skills. Additionally, I provide tailored exercises, on-demand sheet music and transcriptions according to your needs, as well as additional resources and recommendations on my website to nourish your musical life and journey. I teach the following: -the drums, in various styles (rock, funk, jazz, shuffle, pop, world music, latin music, on-demand songs) and forms (Moeller technique, speed, rudiments, syncopation, breaks, solo, independence, musicality, double pedal, push-pull, etc.); -percussion (2 or 4-mallet marimba and vibraphone, xylophone, timpani, cajón, hand percussion), in both contemporary and classical music styles; -music theory, which can and will easily be integrated into my drumming or percussion courses, or can be taught as a separate course for music students who are seeking remedial education; -harmony; -sight reading techniques; -perfect and relative pitch (experimental)

The Tecla y Música Workshop is a space designed to learn and develop your musical and expressive sense through the piano and / or keyboards. The main objective is to learn to make music and enjoy the learning process and its results. The material with which we work (songs, instrumental pieces and exercises) is mainly oriented to your musical taste, and the choice is based on gradually expanding your technical and expressive possibilities, while exploring different musical styles. In this way, different tools are being incorporated to achieve, in a short term, mastery and fluency over the musical language and the instrument. Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case. The work proposal implies a weekly class frequency to achieve optimal work dynamics and that the results are visible in a short term. At the same time, he trained with maestro Blas Sánchez at his Foundation. He completed his Professional Degree at the Conservatory. Music professional from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with professor Fernando Bautista, earning a first-class honors in guitar in every year of his studies, as well as in other subjects. At just 20 years old, he made his solo debut with the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra in the Symphony Hall of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), under the direction of Maestro Josep Gil, after passing the Audition for Young Canarian Soloists conducted by Maestro Karel Mark Chichon. He also participated as a member of the Joven Orquesta de Canarias in its 18th Meeting (2023), conducted by Maestro Víctor Pablo Pérez on its tour of various renowned auditoriums on the islands. He has expanded his guitar training by attending various festivals and taking master classes with guitarists such as Joaquín Clerch, David Martínez, Mitsutoshi Tanaka, Andrea Dieci, Gaëlle Solal, Javier Somoza, Enno Voorhorst, and more. He has also created the projects " Cuerdas Literatas" and "La guitarra de las Islas Afortunadas y de tierra Latinoamericanas." In 2024, he was selected to perform at the National Museum of Anthropology in Madrid as part of the renowned MusaE (Music in State Museums) project, which is part of the Spanish Ministry of Culture.
