With me, you can explore the endless possibilities the piano has to offer, focusing on any topic you wish to delve into and any musical genre that resonates with you. Together, we’ll work on instrument mastery, sheet music reading, chord construction, improvisation, composition, and arrangement. And that’s just the beginning! I’d be thrilled to create a personalized lesson plan tailored to your interests and musical tastes, whether it’s mastering a song you love or refining one of your own original compositions!

My class is for anyone interested in music as a tool for life. The focus is to learn how to play an instrument and also cultivate mindfulness habits. I have taught with my own method for 20 years to hundreds of students from all walks of life. We start our session with a short mindfulness exercise and then you'll learn how to play your chosen instrument through your favourite songs. If you're interested we can also then start to learn how to write songs and even record them!

Music is very interesting both as a profession and as a hobby, but in the beginning we all have difficulties when it comes to playing an instrument. But with a little guidance and a bit of patience you can get the desired results... it's proven :) My name is Paula, I love teaching and working with enthusiastic people, because as I said, teaching others is actually teaching yourself ;). My bachelor's degree at the Conservatory of Ghent (Belgium) taught me what music interpretation is. At the Peter Cornelis Conservatory I learned the important basics of cello and music teaching. In recent years I have gained a lot of experience teaching cello in individual and group lessons as well as in string class lessons. The way of teaching will suit the level of the student (for beginners I divide the lessons into two parts: half basic music theory and the other half cello), and I will always have my cello with me to illustrate. Students will learn how to structure a song, create emotional resonance, and apply basic music theory to enhance their songwriting. By the end of the lesson, students will have written a complete song draft, incorporating both lyrical and musical elements. Target Audience: This class is suitable for beginner to intermediate songwriters, musicians, and anyone interested in learning the art of songwriting. No prior music theory knowledge is required, but a basic understanding of instruments (guitar, piano, etc.) or vocal skills will be helpful.

The Tecla y Música Workshop is a space designed to learn and develop your musical and expressive sense through the piano and / or keyboards. The main objective is to learn to make music and enjoy the learning process and its results. The material with which we work (songs, instrumental pieces and exercises) is mainly oriented to your musical taste, and the choice is based on gradually expanding your technical and expressive possibilities, while exploring different musical styles. In this way, different tools are being incorporated to achieve, in a short term, mastery and fluency over the musical language and the instrument. Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case. The work proposal implies a weekly class frequency to achieve optimal work dynamics and that the results are visible in a short term. There is also the possibility of taking isolated classes in order to solve a specific objective such as developing and perfecting some particular aspect of music practice and / or theory as well as preparing instrument exams or theoretical subjects for institutions of musical studies.
